Sigh, he leaned over to say something.

As for the rest, I don't give a damn when anyone tries to project their own wishes on a politician and then are disappointed when those wishes don't come true. Has happened with every president ever elected on both sides of the isle. Just the way things go. I actually listen to what they said and only hold them accountable to that, but know I am in the minority.

Lol, first of all he did not lean over to say something, he bowed. He has bowed to several world leaders, no need to play it off. But that's irrelivant.

What I don't get Sage, are people in the group you'r in. Bush's plan was protested, yet Obama comes in and is doing nothing that Bush didn't already have set up, yet somehow Obama gets credit for something.

I mean think about it, Bush signed the SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) in 2008 handing control back over to Iraq, and outlined our withdraw by 2011. He wanted to a shift more towards Afghanistan since Iraq could stand on it's own feet now and Afghanistan was seeing a resurgence of violence.

So Obama comes in, doens't send any more troops to Iraq, (because we already signed it over to them and agreed to withdraw before Obama was elected, so can't send any more), then he focuses on Afghanistan, and is using the very effective surge strategy Bush used in Iraq.

Obama is only carrying out Bush's same plan. I just do not get why people say he is somehow approaching this thing better and that his handling of it is somehow better when he has done NOTHING to change the plan that existed prior to his election.
