    Let Us Honor True Greatness!

The topic speaks for itself. Join me in paying our respects to the one nation that has done everything in its power to save us from slavery and oppression. Let us honor the savior of the human race:

I watched a great biography on Lenin a few days ago and there were some things that even I didn't know!

Not a bad guy if you discount the killings, murder, rape and pillaging.

    On second thought, nope..

Lenin had a striking profile; a shame about his political views :^D

ya he was a legendary songwriter too. Its too dam bad Hinkley shot him.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

My stance on V.I. Lenin is simple: he was the greatest human being to ever grace our world, bar none. This magnificent visionary took a political-economic philosophy, applied it to the real world, and in the process irrevocably changed the world for the better.

Let us consider what the world would be like had Lenin not existed:

                (1) Without Lenin's intellect and charisma, the Bolsheviks would likely not have succeeded in overthrowing the Russian tyrants...

(2)... Hence, Russia would have remained a primitive feudal backwater...

(3)... As a result, Europe would have been quickly overrun by fascist Germany. Because there would have been no Red Army to repulse the fascists, the US would never have entered WWII...

(4)... Europe would consequently have been forged into an enormous fascist empire. The US would either be forced to fight it (and lose), or, more likely, ally itself with fascist Europe on the basis of common political grounds...

(5)... Either way, the world would have plummeted into a new Dark Age of fascism. Smaller non-fascist nations would try to stand up to the fascists - but without Soviet-made AK-47s and missiles, they would lose...

(6)... Meanwhile, lacking a socialist point of reference, capitalist nations would never have adopted labor and welfare reforms

What this all means is this: without Lenin, you would all currently be sporting swastikas and working 80-hour working weeks in munitions factories. Instead, you get to chill in front of your computers with your snus and your bourbons...

                You're welcome.

I've always liked Stalin. He took Russia, then a backwoods swamp field, and created the most advanced nation in the world at that time. After he died, and the USSR started bad mouthing him, they became weak and pussified. The whole nation was about to cumble under Clinton, I mean Yeltsin. Putin has doen alot good though. I wish we had a leader like Putin.

More comedy gold from Mr Faust. Sadly, I wish our country had leaders that had balls like he did. i don't agree with him or his policies/politics, but at least he had a plan and went in an implemented it without all this feel goody nonesense that stalls the process here in America.

EDIT: Also, remember who came out as the sole remaining superpower. So don't be so quick to say the US would have lost. Remember your place, oh defeated Russia you.

USSR&Nazi-Germany were cool in their own way, the biggest fact is that they truly were proud to be german/russian and they didn't allow any idiot to ruin it, but these days those muslims are ****ing europe up.

I don't see what the People's Republic of China has to do with this discussion.

I think that's a safe assumption. At no point in time was the US big or powerful enough to take on all of Europe at the same time. And a fascist empire would have unified all of Europe. You would have been conclusively rolled over in a week or less.

Defeated? Heh. Suffering from delusions of grandeur much lately? I would love to find out how exactly it is that you take credit for the purely domestic meltdown of a foreign nation.
