I like the Nazi's uniforms. They also had a lot of cool "stuff" to go with them. They were certainly one of the best dressed regimes in history :^D

The uniform of a Nazi SS officer COMMANDS your respect inherintly. But then again that was the point.

I like the new ACU camo. I think it works better than the Woodland camo under more circumstances. It does a better job of breaking up the human shape, and the color's more neutral to work in more environments. I also like the pocket setup better, and the velcro insignia attachment seems like a good idea to me, though I don't use that(civilian)

The ACU works better in urban environments because you can blend in with a pile of rubble pretty well. but if operating in the desert or jungle they are all but useless.
The velcro makes it easier but wears out quickly as the ACU's are not manufactured with much quality. The crotch area of the pants has ripped on every single one of my ACU's at some point in time. The pocket setup is better though, lots and lots of room, which I found extremely hands because when your in the field, it allows you to carry an extra set of everything you may need. I can fit an entire unifoorm just about in the cargo pockets alone (minus boots).
The main advantage the ACU design has going for it is the pixelized pattern, which works well for what it was made to do, and that isL Make it harder for electronic surveilance to pick you out. It works well if your being looked at by a computer/sattelite, as it helps you blend into a world of pixels easier.
I still maintain that the DCU is the best outfit for our current theatre of operations, especially in Afghanistan where it is less urban than Iraq.
My only question is how come the marines get to roll up their sleaves on their uniforms and yet we have to have everything bloused? Those ****ers get hit, and with everything tucked in there's not much air flowing through the thing.
I think the Marine uniforms are the best we have across all divisions right now. They have one for jungle and one for urban and it's pixelated even more than the army ACU's so it helps break up the smooth lines as much as possible so that one can blend in better. If you lay ina ditch with one of their uniforms and ocver yourselves in leaves, no one's gonna know your there untill they trip over you.

Clearly you weren't joking, and I'm frankly surprised that people haven't jumped all over your ass for saying so. I tried, but I'm over it.

Alright Tom I'm ready to call a truce on this one. But I do beg you to admit that the world would have been a much more peaceful place, and millions upon millions of people from Germany, Poland, France, the UK, America, the entire former USSR, arguably Japan, and countless other nations too numerous to mention would have been spared were it not for Hitler, and I beg you for your own sake and for the sake of almost everyone in the entire world to whom your comment was deeply offensive, to take the ****er off your "fave world leader" list. It's not a good conversation piece. And I am far from PC, it has nothing to do with that. I question whether I am butting up against some ignorant skinhead **** in this debate, but I really don't think that's the case. In any event, let's call it good. You like snus, this forum, punk rock, and eastern philosophy, so at least we have that in common. And I would also jump at the chance to visit North Korea, even under the constant surveillance of a trusty "guide" and his insistence upon making me take pictures of ten thousand monuments to the Dear Leader and nothing else. I was born a few hundred miles from the place, BTW, although that is totally irrelevant. Just trying to get to know each other betterAnyway, no hard feelings man, I just think you're crazy. But sgreger1 thinks we're both anti-American traitors, so like you said, it's a matter of perspective. But I do doubt you'll find anyone who shares your sentiment with the obvious exception of neo-Nazi skinhead ****sticks that the occasional numbnut mistakes me for because I'm bald and live within 500 miles miles of Idaho. Cheers.

In the words of Achmed the dead terrorist......
I KILL YOU!!
its a joke folks......just a jokeGrant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
