    I love Whisky

    Bourbon, Irish, Tennessee...

    Scotch is not my thing.

Whiskey, Whisky, or hooch. I do like.

I like variety. Like cigars, price does not always equate to quality.

    What's your favorite?

I'm a big whisky fan also, but much prefer scotch and Irish. I don't care for Tennessee whiskey, and the only bourbons I'm really into are higher end. Bourbon makes me feel sick if I drink too much, but I enjoy a glass every so often.

I'm also a big fan of tequila, but I haven't explored that much yet. My favorite so far is 1800 Anejo. I can't drink the rail tequilas.

Makers Mark for Kentucky straight bourbon whisky
      Clontarf and Jamesons for Irish
      Don't like Tennessee whiskey
I stick to those three for the most part. I've had scotch once, and loved it. don't remember the maker though  must've been pretty good!
while my choices do get a bit pricey, a handle lasts me forever as I only drink it with a cigar or as a nightcap. I wanna savor the flavor! Rum and Gin are for getting schloshed in my book, but that's a whole other beast 8)

I do like jim, especially with coke. goes down easy and doesn't come out, so long as tequila stays out of the mix
Almost forgot good ol' ol' charter! Good stuff, cheap stuff, and plays well with eggnog! tis the season, after all

yeah im mainly a bourbon man, and have to chime in on the wild turkey. i rock this belt buckle:

in better condition than that one though. i usually buy ten high, ezra brooks, or jim beam though. depending on if i wanna get 7 dollar, 11 dollar, or 16 dollar drunk. woodford reserve and makers mark are great but so expensive.

also love jameson, the only irish ive ever had.. i drink scotch only when i didnt have to pay for it, still have some mccallan 12 year single malt. i wont drink rum, sick. i love gin but sometimes i get hives from juniper. tanqueray, bombay, beefeater, gordons, whatever. gin and tonics and martinis for life. vodka of course is just for pussies that dont like gin. ha!

I like most whiskeys and burbons, Kentucky, Tennesee, Canadian- but I usually can't do scotch or irish whisky.
Ebery now and then (like once every two years) I get a wild hair for Bushmills.

I usually drink whatever's cheapest but I prefer Knob Creek, Jack, Crown and Old Grandad. Always neat.

I love whiskey, too. I prefer not to mix it, with the exception of a couple of drops of water to open up the flavor.

My standby is Jameson's. I can drink that stuff neat all night.

Irish is probably my favorite whiskey, but lately I've been on a single barrel/small batch Bourbon kick. Of what I've tried on that front, I liked the batches of Ezra Brooks Single Barrel and Elijah Craig 12 year that I've gotten.

As for Tennessee, is there anything else besides Jack? I really enjoy a neat Gentleman Jack. Whenever I have the extra cash to drop on it, I've gotta try the Single Barrel Jack.

I don't drink too much Canadian, but if I do, it's usually Crown. Occasionally, I'll get a bottle of Seagram's or CC to mix with 7up or Coke, but like I said, I prefer not to mix.

I've only dabbled in Scotch and have never had really good Scotch. I have about 1/3 left of a liter bottle of Johnny Walker Red that's been in my liquor cabinet for a month. That's about 4 times as long as Bourbon or Irish would last. Good Scotch is just so damned expensive and you can get good Irish or Bourbon for less. Thus I haven't really explored Scotch like I'd like to.

George Dickel's the only other Tennessee I'm aware of.

Bookers is really good to. There's also Willie Nelson's whiskey which, I can't remember the name of. They're pricey though...

Another cheaper bottle: Bullit Burbon. 20 bucks last time I checked and not oo shabby.

I'm a big fan of Italian films of the 70's, so I was on the J&B wagon for a while. But I really didn't care for it, best thing I could mix it with was diet 7-up. Not a liquor fan really, but I usually have vodka mixed, or rum and cola.

Back in the day when I was a regular drinker,
it was Chivas Regal or Johnny Walker Black.
