Very nice! I love JD Single Barrel, but Gentleman Jack just doesn't do it for me. The filtering after aging takes too much away.
Thank´s, have not tasted Gentleman Jack yet, just bought it on a vacation trip...but i´ll think it´s going down quite easy...

How's that Basil Hayden's? I've seen it around, but haven't tried it yet.

I must admit whiskey is my least favorite alcohol. I can do a Crown hooter or an Irish coffee once and a while but thats about it. My dad is a Scotch drinker and I have tried what is supposed to be some great scotches but I just don't like it.

Try a Bourbon and water. That's how I got my wife to start loving whiskey.

I have tried lots of whiskeys since in southern Ohio where I grew up thats pretty much the only liquor they drink. If I want something stiff I will just stick to some Patron or Bombay Sapphire.

Nope, its Two shots of Crown Royal OR Seagrams 7 with a splash of Coke. Created by the late great Dimebag Darrell of Pantera. Named for a Lyric in "Sweating Bullets" by Megadeth. Pantera's drink of choice.

Also my drink of choice, so please believe I know what it is.

                  Touche my friend.

ah well, you win this round.

still, canadian whiskies are bogus. the crowns the only good one and its too expensive for a blended whisky.

(KHI) announced today that Longhorn, the fastest growing moist snuff in the country*, will be the primary sponsor of the No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado driven by three-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion Ron Hornaday. The Longhorn colors will be featured on No. 33 for 10 of the 25 race events in 2009.

“This is an exciting partnership for us,” said Charlie Kivett, Brand Manager for Longhorn. “NASCAR events are some of the highest attended sporting events in the U.S. NASCAR fans are also very responsive to NASCAR sponsors and we see this as a wonderful opportunity to acquaint them with the Longhorn brand.”

Not only will Longhorn sponsor KHI’s three-time Truck Series champion, they will also adorn the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado with KHI co-owner and two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Kevin Harvick behind the wheel. Longhorn will serve as primary sponsor for Harvick at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) November 13. Harvick, who won his first and most recent Truck Series race at PIR is excited about the new partnership opportunity.

“We are looking forward to forging a new partnership with Swedish Match and Longhorn,” said Kevin Harvick, KHI co-owner. “We see Longhorn, KHI and the Truck Series as a good combination for. I don't care for the Canadian whiskeys. The regular kinds are a bland, and Crown is too sweet for my taste. It does win points for coming in a cool bag though :^)
