6 Months Yo

Stopped smoking altogether 6 months ago today. Was smoking one day bought a tin of snus the next and have not looked back. I have quit for a couple of weeks at a time just to get right back on them during a night of drinking or some other event I'd use for an excuse. 22 years of smoking 30 smokes a day and stopped with zero withdrawal.

I am sitting here with friends, music playing and whiskey sours flowing like a river. Nick & Johnny Strong is still standing up nicely. The only reason I have even thought about cigarettes is because of the date. This whole breathing thing is kind of cool. Thanks guys.

I quit the same exact way; I simply started using snus and didn't smoke a single cigarette for six months. I did smoke half of one from curiosity but couldn't handle the repulsive taste.

I didn't even smoke cigarettes before and I bought a pack for my days off. so refreshing! Wonderful little treat, but now i go back to work in a couple of hours so I'll give the rest to a co-worker. I had my fun.

I used to smoke an average of a pack a day, but I just quit, maybe 10 yrs ago, really didn't have much problem, as I moved in with my wife, in a smokefree house. I would still smoke, but it was once in a while when drinking with the buddies. But since I took up snus, even drinking with the buddies, I have no desire to smoke now, as I always take snus.
I do feel if I do want to smoke I can, but I never want to. I do think I'm gonna get some of those new Djarum Clove Cigars though, out of curiosity, but it's so cold out, I won't be very motivated to go out in the cold to smoke.
