All the usual, I ain't picky. Just glad to have food at this time
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
In the US (at least as far as I know), jelly is a fruit spread made with just the juice of the fruit. Jam is made with mashed fruit itself, lending to a thicker and chunkier spread. Preserves has whole fruit (or large chunks of fruit) in it.
Yes jam is much better than jelly. I love tuna mayo and toast

I love tuna and mayo but never heard of having it on toast.
When I said raspberry jam the one I like is actually raspberry conserve (a French brand I think)
Is it Bonne Mamân? I’ve had their blackberry and it is delicious, that’s the only conserve I can get here in Floriduh.
Tuna and mayo on toast is excellent. Also good on an English muffin aka a toaster crumpet. Slice of tomato and a slice of cheese melted over the top…oh my, hot tuna melt heaven.

Hmm ok I’ve had a “tuna melt” which is using a panini so I guess on toast it could work. You just don’t hear of it here AFAIK.
Yes Bonne Maman is the brand! It is delicious. The Rolls-Royce of jams (or conserves or whatever it is).
I love cheese on toast -> toast one side -> put cheddar cheese on sprinkling cayenne pepper on top -> then toasting that side until the cheese bubbles.

It was the best when I could still eat cheese.
I also like caponata on toast. Here’s a link for a recipe, but my mom makes my great grandmother’s recipe and it can’t be beat.
