2006. Good year, easy to work on, southern car so no rust or gunk underneath.

That front end has seen better days but the whole car looks like it has been in multiple accidents. I’m the third owner and the front end was courtesy of a deer with the first owner (I know all the previous owners) and I got it for $200 bucks and the cost of putting in a new clutch. I also banged out that front quarter panel (that’s why it looks like that but it was sharp the way it was folded in) and fixed the AC (electrical issue, it was a fuse not the main system). 10/10 would buy again.

I also have a 1989 Lincoln Town Car that I have to let go of…not too happy about that but it needs more than I can give it.

This weekend I’m going to be redoing the rear brakes from the soft lines to the rotor and a couple of suspension parts (if they are delivered according to tracking). Apparently the rear brakes gave up the ghost some time ago and I never noticed a change in the braking.

Yesterday we had some serious rain and terrible flooding. I had to sit in a raised parking lot and wait for the water to recede for almost an hour. Here’s a picture of two unlucky cars that got flooded and a tow truck going to other flooded out cars.
