    What? Do they really have that? Wow that explains everything. Even the music part is okay but the lyrics suck.

    And what i dont get is rap, I dont mind it but its just black people talkng about being rich. Didnt rap get big by talking about the hardships of living in the ghetto?

    Then again I think modern rap is aimed at the rich white kid demographic if you ask me.

      Rap's tedious to listen to. I can see it as a sub category of a larger genre, but on it's own? It gets old very quickly.

      This what rap should be like...

          No, he's hard to understand. I like the groove though, and there's real instruments, played by real people. That's getting scarce these days :^D

                Mainstream = FAIL

                i listen to underground.

                the 3 "big" names i listen to are bob marley, peter tosh, and norah jones(she's sexy...)

                other than those 3 you'll never see a famous on tv name in my music.

                    I think my band's music is the best stuff to come out in 20 years.

                      Yeah, these days it's pretty much Pro-Tooled, Auto-Tuned garbage. It's like a shortcut to having talent. Tedious.

                      Commercial radio is mostly a wash too, unless you're lucky enough to be in range of one of the handful of still-independent stations that still has some personality.

                      Although I do listen to Sirius/XM over the net quite a bit. I like that pretty well.

                              Black music used to be very good way way back in the day, even up to the 80's. Then c rap got popular, and it seemed like a way for talentless people to get rich, while going under the guise of some message of the black people, which, if you really read what the lyrics are, are racist, crime love, and glorification of the negative stereotypes. I admit when rap 1st started to come out, I think some of it was well done, like LL Cool J, Kool Mo Dee, then it just got crappier every year, and just more and more crime love and glorification of degradation, and now it doesn't even rhyme half the time, and is just grunting often. And that Lil Wayne, got, he's a millionaire now, and is the most untalented person I have ever seen, and I think he's mentally backward judging by how he acts and talks. And then I'll hear something once in a while that I think is ok, like a Rhianna song, and then here comes the c rap interlude which ruins the whole thing.
