Had a 70 troll hunter back in the days on thunderhorn ( account was hacked and I no longer have it).

Also had a 80 orc warrior that I am currently letting a friend use on his account( not exactly legal by blizz standards but idc).

Haven't played for 7 months but I think I'll start up again in a few weeks, probaly get my warrior back or start fresh. I will probally play on gorefiend but if anyone here knows of a good east coast server for horde let me know!

You do realize that the whole Scourge fiasco is entirely the alliances fault, right? If they'd listened to Medivh, it could all have been avoided, the butchery at Stratholme, the fall of Lordearon to the Scourge, the splintering of the alliance with the persecuted high-elves joining either the horde or Kael'thas in his mad quest for power...

They're to blame. And as an added bonus, they got to remain human, while the Forsaken are trapped eternally within their rotting bodies, a tortured shade of their former selves, rejected by the "healthy" humans, barely trusted by the bestial horde.

Seriously though, I like the background story of the game. Shame that it hasn't really progressed in a while.

Just wondering... why do you hate the expansions? There's so much more stuff going on with Lich King.

Ive tried playing 70/80 content and i hate it. Do you remember classic wow? 40 Man raiding, hardcore PVP title earning, remember when it would take months of farming to get that epic mount or new piece of gear?
Also, the game used to have a mature player base, now it seems kids are just playing. I cannot even stand to look at city trade chat..
There is no longer a sense of accomplishment, nothing is hard. I want my hardcore game back, PVE content that was so difficult it would cause guilds to split up. (like with level 60 Naxx 40 man) None of this casual crap.

Thank god im in one of the last remaining level 60 only guilds. Its the only reason im still playing. Im thinking of quitting anyway though.. Since 60 content is nerfed. We are never getting it back and it makes me really angry.

PS, I want my 24 hour long Alterac Valley matches back...

Thats interesting, I didn't know 60 only guilds existed. But I knew that alot of people seem to talk about vanilla in high regard. I got into Wow after the burning crusade was out so I never really got to experience vanilla wow. Sounds like it was epic, but on the other hand I am ashamed to say that I am probaly more of a casual player myself.

I don't like how people can get full purples these days and it's so easy.
Yes classic WoW was truley epic, I have some great memories with my old guild and playing with my best RL friend and his brother.

As far as 60 guilds go, they are almost non existant. My guild is 60 only players who feel exactly like i do about the original game. We are passionate about it and thats why we are the only true 60 guild in all of the US realms.

(60 Twink guilds dont count, they use BC/LK Enchants and gear, we restrict the gear and enchants to classic only)

Lvl 80 Gnome tank since classic.

Lvl 40 tank in WAR. (Atleast challenging game compared to WoW, as its made for 11-year old kids these days who are training nerdrage after 1 wipe)

And in classic it could easily had taken 10 wipes to get 1 boss down.
