    Who Are You?

Tell us about yourselves. This may seem corny, but it's not. Being a SnusOn member for one and a half years or so now, I have communicated with many of you on a somewhat regular basis, but I don't know much about you really. Obviously, we know even less about our newer members. I call upon all of you, especially members who have been around awhile, but also anyone who is willing to let us get to know you better, to participate. As we all know, it's difficult to convey intentions and personality all of the time in our posts. Participate -- I'm curious, and others are too. Thanks ~ I'll start.

I'm 31, been living with my girlfriend for the last 10+ years. We met in college at U of Oregon, freshman year. Became best friends, then more, and been together ever since. I was born in Seoul in 1978, and lived in S. Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Holland, Germany, New Hampshire, and Portland, Oregon as a kid. Moved to Seattle for highschool, got kicked out of U of O, spent many years in Portland, then moved back to Seattle a few years ago. I wasn't a military brat, pops worked for Nike for 22 years, then all around the shoe industry. I work in the travel industry because I couldn't find a better job out of college and I fell into this rut. It's fitting though, as traveling is what I value most. I love traveling more than anything else -- I think experiencing the world and trying to understand other cultures is one of life's most valuable pursuits. I'm bald. I like some of every single type of music you could mention, with notable challenges in the new country and urban R&B categories. I like to eat, especially weird animals I've never eaten before. I love to cook. And play pingpong, skateboard down hills that are too steep at my age, drink and play cards, and entertain my friends. I'm not terribly faithful to America, probably because I spent half my childhood elsewhere, but I consider the Pacific Northwest to be the best location worldwide. I love it here. I would love to live in another country for a while someday, but this will always be home. I started smoking when I was 16, and puffed away until May 2008 when a coworker and friend told me about Swedish snus. I didn't really believe him, so I ordered some from Northerner. That's why I'm here. Who are you? You don't need to go into that much detail, just throw us a bone.

Sage forgot to mention his new found friend he met here at SnusOn! <3

I am a 28(almost 29- ) married woman with 3 little girls. I have never smoked or dipped prior to using snus, but now love the hobby of nicotine.

I live in East Texas right next door to my momma and daddy. I am a stay at home mom, who recently dropped out of college. When I get all my kids in school I plan to return to school to become a teacher.

My husband is the Chef at my daddy's Cafe here in town, he can cook too! You can tell by all the extra pounds his food has added to my a**!

            My girls are 6, 5, and 2 1/2 and are all 3 bratty diva's.

I love to sing, but can't carry a note to save my life...I love food, all kinds. I love Beer, all kinds. I love pie, my favorite is my g'ma's Lemon ice box pie. And I love Jesus.

That about sums me up. And I think this Thread is a great idea. I would love to know more about all my buddies here.

Hi. Name's Ed. I'm 35 now and loving life.

I grew up in western MA. Realizing that there's not enough there to keep me interested I moved out when I was 21. I didn't go far, just to central CT to manage a Chart House restaurant. I was then moved to NY to run a larger Chart House. NY was great, I lived in Yonkers then in Ossining and spent almost all of my money in Manhattan. Wow, that city was fun.

I met my wife in the restaurant biz. I hired her to be a server for us and after five or six months we began to date and she had to leave the restaurant. I've been down that road before and it always ended badly. This time I got it right. Elaine is from Ireland and I've been there with her over a dozen times now. That's a cool country.

I got fed up with the corporate restaurant biz that I left in 2000 and designed closet systems and waited tables, myself. Then I realized that you can't raise a family in NY w/ that kind of income. I found a kitchen company to work for designing and selling their products. I quickly found success in this line of work and got myself promoted.

Once we had our two little girls I got snipped (highly recommended) and had an itch to leave NY. My company asked me if I would sell my house in NY and move to MA. No brainer. I did and have been running the New England office for four years now. My job is great...stressful, but great.

Kids and wife are more than I can ask for. My brother lives 4.9 miles from me. The rest of my family is about an hour away so that's cool too.

I smoked butts (Camel Lights) for 15 years, then dip when I finally got that fear of dieing...then snus when I get that feeling that my gums didn't like me anymore. I got into nasal snuff last summer but I've laid off that much since. I still pinch almost every day but it's paltry now.

I don't enjoy alcohol much anymore. I enjoy dried plant material much much more. Love to cook. Love food. I work out heavily 4 days/week. I'm a skier. I play sax, and guitar and dabble in other instruments. I was raised catholic but now I'm not religious though I am very spiritual.

This is the second message forum I've ever used. My first was Snuffhouse this past summer. I don't know...I LOVE SNUS. I'm sure I'll share more if prodded a bit. You all seem pretty nice here at Snuson.

Hi my name is Jason, and I'm addicted to SnusOn.

I'm 29, married with two kids. One just turned three, and the other is still in utero. (Both are girls.) I currently live in Southern Alabama, close to Mobile, but previously lived in Tampa and then Pensacola Florida. I don't eat meat, listen to mostly punk rock, but my tastes go all over the place. I'm a planner/scheduler for a heavy lifting/rigging company currently, but will need to find another scheduling job soon. I play a lot of video games. That's about it really.

I'm 42. Live with my fiancee, over 10 years. Met online. Work a very boring desk job at a paper records warehouse. I'm a Navy vet. Have hobbies of DVD collecting of cult genre films, CD collecting of metal, punk, new wave, art rock, electro, and some Indian stuff. Have a small set of friends. I drink now and then. Was a Hindu monk for a little while. Interested in eastern spirituality. I believe in UFOs and ancient aliens. Politically, more a third positionist. I also sometimes do crafts like knitting, made a few hats and scarves, but it's been a while. Other than work, and home life, I guess I am focused these days on my band, which just released it's debut CD to rave reviews. Working on a new CD this year, 2 CDs actually. That's about it in a nutshell.

My name is Stewart Gregerson, son of Grant Gregerson, from the far west land of California.

I'm 24 years old and have lived an eventfull life but with many parts which I regret.

I was born in Canoga Park CA, and lived most of my life in LA. I was a nerd in school, but for some reason began getting popular near the end of high school when I dropped out so I could work full time to afford a car like my rich friends. I then started smoking grass, at which point I decided I could make a living of seeling it, so I did for a while. Me and my friend would move several lbs a week, untill one point where I just wanted to work a regular job so my parents would like me, which brought me to the job I have now. My partner on the other hand went on to open his own cannabis club in Hollywood and he is now rich. Sigh..

I decided to party instead of going to college, at which point I got addicted to coke, which i then decided I should start selling, which led to an assortment of trouble and violence and a lot of money that was inevitably wasted in the end. After several of my close friends OD's and died I realized I am worth more than that and way to smart to be hanging out with this trash, so I did the unsmart thing of joining the army to try and get away from it all. Then after playing paratrooper for a while in the 82nd airborne I got married & was back home just in time to see my daughter born.

I moved up to Santa Cruz where my wife goes to school and now I am just waiting a few more months for her to finish school and start working so that I can go to college and persue a business major. (Hopefully they can teach me how to spell too )

My wife is beautifull, smart, and an excelent housekeeper, and my daughter is more beautifull than the earth herself, she has changed my life and given me purpose, which is what I spent so many years looking for.

Also I am spiritual but not religious, and I, like Tom, believe in Aliens.

                    Fin

im 22. i live in grand haven michigan, its a tourist town in the summer, and completely dead in the winter. i was born in ohio, lived there till i was 5 when my parents split. ive always been pretty nerdy. i got into punk rock in middle school. i spent all of high school raising hell. i went to shows like it was my job. i got into shoplifting on a large scale, and graffitti. both landed me in legal trouble. i used to be straight edge until i was about 18 when i started smoking pot, and eventually started drinking and then some other drugs gradually added into the mix. its probably a good thing i was straight edge as a teen, or id have probably ended up in a lot more legal trouble. i spent about a year partying ridiculously. my friends and i drank, drugged, fought, broke shit, went crazy on a daily basis. also a lot of skateboarding and disc golfing. until my spirit was recently crushed when i couldnt finish a tour, i was a big bicycle enthusiast. pretty much everyone i know is. a local punk band (ATO) once had a song called bike punks unite. it brainwashed west michigan. i met my current girlfriend a little over 2 years ago. i knocked her up after knowing her about 3 months. our son is now 15 months old, hes pretty cool. my girlfriend drives me nuts daily but i cant really imagine sharing my life with someone else. eh i guess thats about it.
