Fox gives Simpsons fans a big F* U

So I'm an avid Simpsons fan. Have been since I watched them on the Tracy Ullman show. I've bought every DVD release day one from Season 1-12. Now they come out with Season 20 on DVD and Blue Ray. It was a rushed product. There's no deleted scenes, no commentaries, nothing. The packaging is horrid. The only bonus feature is a 3 minute sneek peek clip of the 20th Anniversary Special that's already aired! Granted Season 20 is the best season in the last 7 years, but I would rather have Season 13. Grr. I guess I'll get the DVD version and hope that eventually they'll release a decent copy on Blue Ray that comes with an episode guide and special features. Anyway I just had to vent.

That sucks. I think the market for DVDs has fallen through the floor. I don't know what season they are up to but if it is one of the recent ones they probably figure only the hardest of the hardcore will buy it anyway. Exactly the fans you shouldn't screw and the ones who are always most likely to be screwed over.

BitTorrent. Sorry, the studios have been ripping folks off for years with their over priced DVD's

I torrent a lot, but The Simpsons are a must own. You can't torrent all the extras. You're right General, that's the way it always is.

I know it's a shameless plug - but if anyone has a recording of the 20th anniversary film. I'm in the band that's second right at the start (Bellowhead) - and I've got a portion of Nick & Johnny original in at the time if that makes any difference.

I'm the one playing the accordion. You can check out the band at www.bellowhead.co.uk
