HAARP, Chemtrails: Conspiracy or not?

Disclaimer: I know this is going to turn into a conspiracy thread but I want to discuss the legitimate theory that EM frequencies can be used for scalar weapons or for other purposes. I was wondering everyone's take on whether or not they think it is possible that these things are being utilized for a military purpose.


I am assuming most are familiar at some level with HAARP or other similar facilities in other countries, whether it be from conspiracy theory websites or from elsewhere. My question to you is, do you believe they could be used for a purpose other than research. (i.e. a weapon).


In 1997, then Secretary (of Defense) Cohen addresses a conference titled, “Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and U.S. Strategy”

In it he makes reference to some intel that some entities (other countries/ groups) may be engaging in research or application of scalar weapons capable of modifying weather or set off earthquakes etc.

“There are some reports, for example, that some countries have been trying to
construct something like an Ebola Virus, and that would be a very
dangerous phenomenon, to say the least. Alvin Toeffler has written
about this in terms of some scientists in their laboratories trying to
devise certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic-specific so

Congress has tried to ban the use of exotic weapons in the Space Preservation Act of 2001 (HR 2977), In which it specificly makes mention of chemtrails and using electromagnetic waves to alter the ionosphere (which is what HAARP does)

SEC. 7. DEFINITIONS.

In this Act:

(1) The term `space' means all space extending upward from an altitude greater than 60 kilometers above the surface of the earth and any celestial body in such space.

(2)(A) The terms `weapon' and `weapons system' mean a device capable of any of the following:

(i) Damaging or destroying an object (whether in outer space, in the atmosphere, or on earth) by--

(I) firing one or more projectiles to collide with that object;

(II) detonating one or more explosive devices in close proximity to that object;

(III) directing a source of energy (including molecular or atomic energy, subatomic particle beams, electromagnetic radiation, plasma, or extremely low frequency (ELF) or ultra low frequency (ULF) energy radiation) against that object; or

(IV) any other unacknowledged or as yet undeveloped means.

(ii) Inflicting death or injury on, or damaging or destroying, a person (or the biological life, bodily health, mental health, or physical and economic well-being of a person)--

(I) through the use of any of the means described in clause (i) or subparagraph (B);

(II) through the use of land-based, sea-based, or space-based systems using radiation, electromagnetic, psychotronic, sonic, laser, or other energies directed at individual persons or targeted populations for the purpose of information war, mood management, or mind control of such persons or populations; or

(III) by expelling chemical or biological agents in the vicinity of a person.

(B) Such terms include exotic weapons systems such as--

(i) electronic, psychotronic, or information weapons;

(ii) chemtrails;

(iii) high altitude ultra low frequency weapons systems;

(iv) plasma, electromagnetic, sonic, or ultrasonic weapons;

(v) laser weapons systems;

(vi) strategic, theater, tactical, or extraterrestrial weapons; and

(vii) chemical, biological, environmental, climate, or tectonic weapons.

(C) The term `exotic weapons systems' includes weapons designed to damage space or natural ecosystems (such as the ionosphere and upper atmosphere) or climate, weather, and tectonic systems with the purpose of inducing damage or destruction upon a target population or region on earth or in space.

For those who are intirested in the subject, what do you think. Is there a chemtrail program going on, is HAARP capable of being used as a weapon (after all, the DOD funds it)?

People who have done chemical analysis areas where spraying is heavy often report above normal levels of aluminum oxide and barium.


Here is a patent issued to Hughes Aircraft Corp in 1994 that describes a method of spraying aluminum (& other compounds) in the atmosphere to combat global warming

I have done a decent amount reading on both and I am thoroughly convinced that neither is a conspiracy theory. HAARP is a great threat at the most and at the very least, very suspicious. As for the chemtrails, they have been doing that for years...its just a fact.

I started noticing it when I lived in the desert and they were spraying excessively to the point that it was obvious something was going on so i've been following it in my area ever since.

Not sure what they are used for. Some say they are used as an antenna but it seems like they constantly spray the stuff at all times so it's gotta have a huge budget if nothing else. If it were for global warming I imagine our celebrity in chief would be taking all the credit for saving the world. So not sure what they could be for.

All that aluminum can't be healthy though.

I personally don't believe the hype because, for one of many reasons, it's not hard to remember being fascinated by contrails that lasted all afternoon on a clear day well before 1997 as theories would have you believe this all started. I've dismissed the phenomenon, I'll admit, after a good buddy tried to cram it down my throat all Summer a few years back. I don't see it as an economically or scientifically viable solution to.... anything at all. Global warming? lol so we lay chemtrails over 3-5% of the earth's surface to combat global warming? Or do we cover millions of square miles of international airspace with this? Er, not international, it's the NWO! Here's a funny quote though from some hack NWO website:

The logistics behind chemtrails would be phenomenal and the motives very dubious.

For starters, I think we can discount any notions of hidden spraying devices on commercial planes. The cover-up needed for this kind of operation is simply not feasible.

This leaves us with additives to plane fuel, which would be unwittingly released through normal operation. Now, considering the combustion of the fuel, only very few additives would "survive" the combustion, and those that would, such as certain metals, would presumably be damaging to the engines.

However, the most telling part is that many proponents of the chemtrail theory have great difficulties agreeing not only on the how, but also the why. No convincing reason has been brought up as to why anybody would bother.

So to me, chemtrails are a hoax.

As for HAARP, the suggestion that it could be used for "geophysical warfare" and other such nonsense, is just simply ridiculous if you look at the physics behind it.

I hear you Roo and I understand your point, because the reason WHY they would be doing it and spending so much money seems inexplainable. The only reason I buy this is because I personally have witnessed it for a long time, and I have never lived near an airport. I first noticed it when I lived in Palmdale by Edwards airforce base where they have the skunkworks facility and they are always flying their cool new toys at.

Even on 9-11 when the air traffic was halted for 3 days, it continued. Criss crosses and other perfect patters are seen all the time where I have lived. I'm not the only one who notices this, other residents who are certainly not anywhere near conspiracy theorists notice it too.

That NWO china shit is just more conspiracy speculation, I highly doubt that's happening. What I do know is that it is happening because I have seen it time and time again, but for what purpose I do not know.

Lol, no not contrails, there is certainly a difference between contrails and what I see over here. I know it sounds crazy but I wish I had taken pictures of some of the shit I see over here. I had a buddy who did a timelapse video of it over the period of a day or two and you can see how organized it is, in a manner that it couldn't be commercial air traffic.

Roo, anyhting on those conspiracy sites is 99.99% BS. I don't think there is any grand plasma rape going on but I do know this stuff is being sprayed.


I wish I had the links but there have been several reputable orgs that have done chemical analysis of samples taken in the areas this happens in most. The link above is a guy who shows pics of his study on what he believes is contained in the chemtrails. The website is set up crappy but his data is kind of intiresting. Doens't seema s crazy as most.
