I've been thinking about a new years resolution. I'm not typically the guy who follows them, but I've taken to improving myself lately, and figure I might as well give it a shot, and what better place to share information than on this forum. So lets hear it everyone. What is your proposed new years resolution? And if you've got one, what is your game plan? If you don't have one, this will be a good place to stea- I mean ... borrow ideas.

For my it's getting back in shape.
After I got out of the army last year I decided I would never lift a finger unless I had to, and never run or do anything strenuous ever again. After about a year that is catching up with me and people are starting to comment on it so it's back to the gym for me.
Speaking of which, I had no idea how expensive gyms were. Most of them here are 700$ down just to start, completely unreasonable.

I am simply going to try my hardest to continue breathing thru out the year.
Oh..... and I have five inherited cemetary plots that I need to cash in and get two that are suitable for my wife and I. Been putting it off for years. Gotta do it this year.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I suppose my most interesting goal is to cycle a century (100 miles) in a 24 hr period. I've been riding 10 miles to work every day for the past year and I've recently switched to a fixed gear from a single speed, which will hopefully build endurance. Much like PP, I'd also like to continue breathing. In the past year, I've been hit by cars on three separate occasions, without fault and pretty shitty results.
I've also been hitting the gym 3x/week and have been doing 30 mile intervals at a moderately high intensity.
