I didn't like it. Basically because there was no coherent story line. It's like the writers just make up a bunch of weird shit, and when the story is no longer going anywhere they just send the people backwards or forwards in time. They throw in a cliffhanger just to keep people interested, then start the story all over again.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems like lazy writing to me.
I think it was because there are two groups of Lost fans.
People who want them to stay on the island (me, for example).
And people who want them off the island.
It may be to cater to both of those crowds. Because they never wrapped up the mysteries of the island, so many unanswered questions. But so many people say, "Hey, it's been this many years, I want to see them go home." But outside of Hurley (who is now the luckiest man alive, or so he says), who really had a life to go back to?

youre not wrong. jj abrams publicly admitted that well into the series that they had no idea where they were going with it even after theyd done several seasons. all they do is set up this mysterious bullsh*t and then never do anything with it but tack on more bullsh*t. i hate that show.
They always had a beginning a middle and an end. They just had to fill it in. They know what there doing. Everything in that show happens for a reason. It just sometimes takes many seasons later to reveal why it happened. UNLIKE Heroes, which they kinda make up as they go along. Which they're doing good this season with it.
I think when Sayid "woke up from the dead", he was actually Jacob reincarnated  Since the black monster was the "man in black" and took over Lock's body, it only makes sense that Jacob would do the same thing.
But then again, when has anything on this show made sense :P

That is a good theory though. The only thing that doesn't make sense is the note said if Sayid died they were in some sh#@. Another thing, the other timeline - where they're one the plane. I don't think it's real at all. Jin and Sun had different last names. Desmond obviously wasn't on the plane. I think it's just showing how crappy everyone's lives are outside of the island.
Okay, so Lost is almost over, and I'm kinda bummed about that. Lost is my favorite show, that's no lie. And it's quite possibly the best show of all...
I'm only growing one type of seed this year. I wanted a seed that would grow well for my location. As much as I want to grow a Burley or Dark Air Cured...
