I quit Facebook that is!! I was spending way too long on there and getting way too pissed at friends, family members, co-workers for BRAGGING! Every time I logged on, I would see that a friend "ordered a brand new car" or another that "purchased a new $400K house," or "just signed my kid up for the most expensive private school." Perhaps those are updates to some people but to me they are just bragging and down-right TACKY!
I finally QUIT!

Facebook and myspace used to be localized to just high school and early college aged kids. It should have stayed that way. I deleted mine once my mom got a facebook page. Everything stops being cool when 50 year olds are doing it...
Me and my wife both got rid of our "online presence". It was cool for a minute but I am tired of it and don't really care what aynone is doing with their day or what their updates are.

Where I live 400k would not bet you a 2 bedroom 1 bath house in a pridominantely illegal alien town.
Your 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house in California would average 800k depending on the size of the yard and how close to the ghetto you want to be.
I hate my life.

I'm terrible at keeping in touch with people over the phone, so Facebook is pretty much the only way I stay somewhat in touch with folks I don't see often. I lived halfway across the country from most of my friends until recently and I still have a few friends scattered across the country, so I probably won't be giving up Facebook anytime soon. MySpace, on the other hand, is pretty much dead to me. Facebook just has a much cleaner interface.
