Gamers Redux: Modern Warfare 2

So we have a "other gamers here?" thread, which seems to get alot about Modern Warfare 2 in it. Why not have its own thread? Since by now this game seems to have become the mother of all games, with such a rabid, huge following, why not have a place to talk about it and it only?

Please post all other games in the original gamers thread.

Here you can post your rank, weapons class, what perks you use, recent achievements, or just about anything else that has to do with this game, or even with Modern Warfare 1.

I for one am stoked, I finally figured out how to get on top of the building in Highrise last night. Freakin' awesome! I happened to be using my "Ninja Sniper" class that I made, which is:

silenced sniper rifle + scavenger pro + cold blooded + ninja + tactical insertion

I got up there, and due to my perks and silencer, it seemed nobody could figure out where the hell I was. I just threw down a tactical insertion, and then just started picking dudes off right and left. When I ran out of ammo, I would just jump off the building, die, and respawn back up on the roof due to the tact insertion, and repeat. Greatest sniper nest ever!

I thought the scaffolding and ledge inside the oposite building was pretty damn cool, but now everyone is learning how to do that one, so you get picked off pretty easily now. This one Im sure will be the same in no time though.....

lvl 68 2nd prestige.
hardcore headquarters
various classes as im trying to do prestige challenges. mostly m4 and p90
for sniper maps ie with wasteland. i like to run
intervention/ebr blinged with silencer and thermal
secondary tmp red dot and silencer or glock
claymores then hardline and last stand.

my stab happy class:
riot shield, m9 tac knife , marathon , light weight, commando .
really wish a map pack hits soon.

I just got the game but I'm loving it. I was never into multiplayer games but I relaly like what they did with MW2. I still gotta unlock a lot of stuff though before I can fully enjoy it.

I have a class like that made also, except I dont use the riot shield, as it makes you slower and heavier. Actually I dont ever use a riot shield, just seems like such a pussy choice to me. Nothing I love better than semtexing dudes with the shields.
If you use that class, and get a airdrop reward, but just hold it in your hand and dont throw it you can run even faster. Its fun as hell once in awhile to run around like a freaking madman stabing dudes left and right. Get some pretty high kill streaks if you do it right.
I hear theres going to be two map packs released, I cant flippin wait for that, supposed to be here pretty soon.

Well being in college I play this game too much.. I love it! I just decided to go prestige for the first time. I am more of a run around player, I cant just sit in one spot for the whole game. My tag is DEN1ALx

Yah my only complain is that there's not enough maps. Hopefully they will release cool map packs soon.

One of my best rounds yet!

Blatantly caught someone doing an elevator glitch earlier. Just kinda floating up in favela blasting people. I thought they had patched all these glitches? Used to be able to get "inside" two different rocks in Afghan, but I believe they were supposed to patch all the elevators when they patched those. Buncha bullsh*t.......... :evil:
