Well i just watched the movie EXTRACT Which was written by Mike Judge(beavis and butt-head IDIOCRACY , office space, king of the hill) and was thinking to my self how did this one fly under the radar it is hilarious. Well rather than start a thread every other week about one movie i figured it would be good to have an "open' thread where we can all chime in on something that we think is good and it may enlighten the rest of us. Any way back to Extract this is a very funny movie starring Jason Bateman (perfect) Mila Kunis(hot) Kristin Wiig (funny and hot) Ben Afflek (Best thing he's ever done,comedically pretty good) written by mike Judge anyway check it out on the torrents it's well worth the watch.
And post other stuff here if you think it's cool. UNLESS IT HAS TO DO WITH AMERICAN IDOL

Zombieland. Can't recommend it enough.

Have you guys seen the previews of the new live action Smurf movie. That's going to be horrible. I think the Smurf Village is in Central Park.

I thought that was about a C- of a movie but A for the soundtrack.
I love zombie movies but I thought Shaun of the Dead was way better for a comedy.

Well I dvr'd NETWORK(1976) a couple nights ago off of TCM. I was playing on their 31 days of oscar programming. Well i just finished watching this Masterpiece and i only have 1 word to describe it and that word is PRESCIENT. If you have not yet watched this movie do seek it out and be ready to have your mind blown.

Idiocracy is VERY underrated.

It's very well written. It may sound stupid, but that's the way this country is headed. Look at how many great minds we've had since the dawn of time, and how few we have now. Society is obviously dumbing down.

I have that new Norweigan horror film, Dod Sno, but I haven't gotten around to watch it yet. I read it's pretty good, and my buddy says it is too.
