    Bioshock 2

I just finished Assassin's Creed 2 (one of the best endings in a video game that I've seen in a while), and started up Bioshock 2. Anyone here wanna do some multiplayer achievement boosting this coming up Friday night?

I think so, but from what everyone says, it's a water downed version of CoD. You go up in ranks and what not. You play as a Splicer set in the time right before the fall of Rapture. Big Daddy suits will spawn randomly, I like it, I'm working on my first playthrough of single player right now, saving the little sisters, second playthrough will be on hard, harvesting them.

I do like how they changed the hacking minigame. It was cool in the first one but it took to long. This new system is much better.

I agree. And IX, I think that's the first time I've seen a Rick Roll on Snuson!

              :^D

Wouldn't that be an awesome easter egg to put in the game? Leave a recorder in a kind of out of the way place; you don't want everyone to find it. Then use initials only for the person, maybe RR, or RA :^D It would take you out of Rapture for a little bit, but humor would make up for the immersion break :^)

I wouldn't have the "Big Brass Balls" to Rick Roll a Big Daddy.

How's the single player game guys? I'm trying to finish up Mass Effect 2 before i splash the cash for Bioshock 2.

(I'm not a big fan of "run and gun" multiplayer - I'd prefer something more strategic and contemplative, that wasn't biased so heavily towards experience of a particular set of maps)

Have you played the first one?

Oh yeah. It's one of my favourite games of all time.

Well, from what I've read then, you'll like Bioshock2. I won't get to play until Easter, so I can't say myself, but the little bit I've looked, it's been favorably reviewed by people that liked Bioshock. I haven't read much on it because I don't want to ruin the surprise. I like going into games blind, and don't want to know what's going to happen until I get there.

Similar situation here. I just finished Mass Effect 2 (which I loved) and already have Bioshock 2 downloaded from Steam. As for multiplayer, I haven't played FPS multiplayer in a while, but I was a fan of some of the more realistic Battlefield mods.
