Here's a list of all the commercial games that are not available as freeware. Some are pretty good

The ones I've tried:

Battefield Heroes - decent 3rd person shooter, fun but not very deep

Runes of Magic - As close as you can come to World of Warcraft in a free game imho

Grand Theft Auto I and II - classics and lots of fun

MechWarrior 4 - if they release that, get it, I loved it

Also heard good things about League of Legends and Battleforge.

I also suggest you get STEAM and keep an eye on their promotions, especially the "games under 5.-€" (or whatever currency you may use). I nabbed some real bargains there. Less than 5.-€ for gems like Torchlight can't be beat.
