    OT- Youtube help?

    Hi,

    I just made a Youtube account. Right now, I'm mainly wanting to promote my band, but I don't have a clue how to do what I want to do.

    I don't have any videos yet, but I have noticed alot of bands do this, which I want to do, they have a still picture of the album cover, and the audio of the song.

    So, if anyone knows, how do I do this? Thanks in advance.

    I found a program on the computer to do it(I think), but now I'm trying to figure out how to save an audio file from my CD....

      You can do it with most any program. Find a program that extracts CD audio from a CD, search "Audio Extractor" or "CD Extractor", try download.com, that's where I got mine. Search free programs. After that, you can use Windows Movie Maker/iMovie (if you're Mac), or search for a Video/Audio joiner program, and use the .jpg or .gif of your bands cover from the album and join the audio to that file, and you should be able to save it with the audio playing and your album cover on top of it.

      Or if you're feeling creative you can make a slide show of pics (Windows Movie Maker and iMovie (if you're Mac) are both great for this) over your music.

        I'm working on it. I made the vid, but it's not wanting to upload. I'll keep messing with it, but I think I have all I need.

              OK. I made 4 of them. Only 1 is showing up in the search right now, I guess the others will soon. If interested go to Youtube and type in Astrum Empire. All I had was the audio track, and a few photos and artwork. The other 3 should be available soon.
