    Olympics

I had the afternoon off from work so I was all excited to watch my soap! I turned on the TV and to my disappointment, CURLING was on! There was nothing else on so I just stuck with curling. I was disappointed at first because I knew NOTHING about curling but after a few minutes of watching, I was interested!! Now I've been glued to the TV most of the day watching various events! Who knew sports could actually be fun to watch!?? Anyone else watching the Olympics?

I am consuming the Olympics. One ofn the joys of being jobless although I do start something right after the Olympics.

But now, am watching all I want to. Have seen at least part of every US Woman's Hockey game, all the prime time stuff.

I actually prepared for these games. I watched every figure skating event all season this year, I watched every woman's Alpine Skiing event, every Women's World Cup skeleton this season. I like being prepared in the sports I love, Was such a joy to know how everyone was doing this year as I watched them in the Olympics. I have watched Julie Mancuso ski all season, and never this year has she skied as she has at the Olympics. And knowing that, realizing it real time just added to the specialness of all of it.

Yeah, this is my best Olympics watching year ever.

I love the Olympics but F curling. It's boring and its on all day every day. I'd watch if they could compress the event.

I was surprised to see that the curling women are are a lot higher on the hotness scale than I had imagined.

Been watching hockey today!! I normally don't sit around and watch games, only the occasional Red Wings game so I was surprised by the 2 goals I saw overturned today during the US v. SUI game. Like I said, I rarely watch hockey so I have never seen a goal denied, let alone TWICE in one game! Now just finished watching Canada beat Russia.

BTW - I missed the Simpson's curling episode. DARN!! I am not slamming curling, I actually liked it but I did tell my husband that curling gives people like me, basically a housewife, hope to compete in an olympic event someday.

Anyone else notice Apollo YAWNING before skating?? What is up with that?

Vancouver is an amazing, awesome city.

I've been watching a lot too. The hockey is getting really good!
