Wedding Announcement


Since it started here, I thought you all should be some of the first to know...

I asked Debra to marry me last night. She said yes. We will be getting married next month, April 20th.

We are just gonna do the simple Magistrates office. I was already taking her to the Outer Banks one night the middle of her trip next month. So now we will go a bit early, find the county clerk and get our license, then have the magistrate sign off. Simple, neat, intimate. What we both need and want.

I can't begin to express how grateful I am that Debra and I met. She is the most amazing thing I have ever found. I have never trusted anyone like I trust her. The best way I have found to say it??? She is the first person I ever met that I can communicate in Real time with... meaning, I don't have to think about what or how to say something. I don't have to hold back, massage, or think that I can never "tell her" something.

I'm still kinda a bit spun from all this. But wanted to share my news.




BTW....I think this may be Snuson's first wedding. I think you had better start thinking Wedding Gifts ice. :wink:

Congrats! As someone who has been married more than once (encouraging, eh?) I can say you're making the right decision. All the superfluous pomp and ceremony are just that: excessive. My wife is my best friend, and the simple, intimate magistrate ceremony we prepared was all we've ever felt we needed. Again, congrats.

WOW!!! That was kinda quick. But when you know you've found the right mate there is no reason for a long engagement. Seriously Sage, I'm so genuinely happy for both of you. I wish you both many happy years together.
