NSFW Content Poll

Looks guys, it's simple. I have instituted a vote on the subject matter and the final vote will reflect the will of the forum members.

Have you not learned anything from the last week? It is predominantly the will of the owner that matters. And it seems he has labeled the "People & World Around Us" subforum as safe for "NSFW" content. There has been no law laid down yet as to whether or not each post needs to be labeled as such, or if the whole subforum is fair game. I hope it's the latter, but that will suck for you, since you spend 99% of your time in this subforum.

and to allow porn is in fact a double standard.

Can you please copy or link to said pornography?

This forum has always had a certain elegancy (rofl) to it and to have nonstop posting of political spam on threads degrades this place to the level of every other stupid forum on the net.

Alright snusmun. Two can play at this game. Wait till I get home tonight and we will see how fast we can turn this forum into 4chan. I know it's up to ice, but ice is always open to feedback so I figured a vote on the matter would help him determine what the forum members like, and if it is his will, than make the necessary changes. Like LX said, this forum is what we make it, and I am just adding my two cents.

Political threads are just conversation like anything else, and are usually clearly marked. Anyone who goes into a "Obama socialistnaziantichrist" thread knows what they are getting into.


And post link to said porn? I am pretty sure pictures of black dudes penises is pornography but perhaps I am mistaken.

It just pisses me off because in the past I was asked to take things down such as a cartoon of a stick figure jacking off because it was innaprorpiate, but now nothing is off limits, so I will make sure this place stays colorfull.

Just use your brain people it isn't that hard. If you want to look at porn go to a porn site, alone. Don't post it here. I mean some fun is some fun, but don't go overboard with the dicks and boobs, seriously?! We are adults but come on. I like boobs, snatch and penis's as much as the next girl/guy but normally I come here to hang out and have fun with my snus buddies, not get all hot and bothered (thus leading to putting my kids down for a nap so I can diddle myself).

I don't have to worry about being at work, but I don't want one of my kids to walk up behind me while I am reading a thread and see Elmo with a giant penis, that might scar them for life! We can have jokes, we can have fun, but people should be able to read this at work or at home without no problem. We are smart people we can make jokes without dicks and naked girls.

Yeah, what ice said was what I was trying to convey. The link to the NSFW boobs thread I opened earlier when my kids were watching tv and when I read what ice wrote and clicked it my 5 yr old was beside me only to see a 16 year old naked girl in the mirror, WTF? The link doesn't specify NSFW, so how was I to know that was what the link was too??? Do y'all see my point?

Yeah, let's keep this forum what it originally was - for snus and snus related topics, people and phenomenon around the world.

No porn, no bullshit --- uh... right now it feels that we have long way get back there, but it can be just back on the corner.

Thanks for your input ice. This is exactly what I meant, posting some boobs is cool and it has never been a problem but it is starting to get to the point where nsfw content lurks around every corner and it is becoming more and more explicit.

I may be being selfish here but a lot of people access this site at work. While we do so at our own discretion obviousely, it would be nice to not expect to see black dicks and 15 year old girls naked on threads all the time.


I instituted the vote just to see how other members felt about it and apparently there is a bunch of people who would like similar discretion when posting such content on the forum.

I removed the elmo picture. Again, it was supposed to illustrate, in my mind, the fine line between "pornography" and "NSFW" material. Apparently to some here, they consider even a simple animated penis or an artistic sculpture of a vagina as pornography. So be it, I guess the lowest common denominators have been catered to. Scratching my head though as to how somebody bitching about a pair of clothed bouncing boobs could lead to a completely sterilized forum.....too bad. People are reading a post about NSFW content and they are doing so either at work, or in front of their children, and then they are complaining about offensive content.....now that is pathetic.

As stated several times, no one had a problem with the bouncing boobs posted once or twice. No one complained about the sculture. Ice referenced a particular thread for evidence of the type of things that he didn't want.

YOU are the lowest common denominator here. I thought you said we should leave it up to Ice? Well Ice and nearly 64% of all forum members polled seem to take issue with some of the content posted here, so you tell me whos stance is "pathetic".
