    It's official, Obama is black.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/03/us.../03census.html

Good old New York Times, journalism at it's best (It took two people to write this apparently):

"A White House spokesman confirmed that Mr. Obama, the son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, checked African-American on the 2010 census questionnaire."

Did I not get the memo? the president is black! <---- NEWSFLASH :!:

And of course this little gem:

"He chose “Black, African Am., or Negro.” (The anachronistic “Negro” was retained on the 2010 form because the Census Bureau believes that some older blacks still refer to themselves that way.)"

we know hes black but the real question is "Is he a citizen"?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

They should have a box that says multiracial, or polyethnic.

I tend to believe he is a citizen, but it is odd they won't release his bith cirtificate, why the secrecy?

i try to always refer to black people as negros cause it sounds old timey, and not quite racist, but at least a little ignorant.

These are some interesting observations. In the Western PA area that I live, Negro is consider a "derogatory" term by many blacks! Older blacks (65+) often refer to themselves as Colored. Younger blacks refer to themselves as African American and frown on the use of Negro or Colored.

While I was growing up a hundred years ago (baby boomer generation), it was proper to refer to African Americans as blacks. Today, at least here in Western PA, African American seems to be the title of choice.

One final observation... I find it interesting that blacks can call each other the other "N" word, but if anyone other than another black uses the word, a major racial incident will occur. Irish American's seem to be OK with the use of "MIC" and Italian American's seem to be OK with the use of WOP or DAGO. I guess it's a regional thing with Negro v. Colored; however, the use of the other "N" word is strictly forbidden outside of the African community itself.

for some reason mick and wop seem less harsh than the n word, probably due to the whole slavery thing and years and years of oppression ordeal. weve been hammered over the head over the years that this is like the worst word you can use. though the wops and the micks were the n*ggers before black people. personally, i dont give a shit if someone calls me a dumb drunken mick. i am. we all need to take some pride in the stereotypes of our ethnicities. i have a dream, that one day we will live in a world where we can freely call eachother the appropriate slur in good spirit without incurring any beatdowns.

ps im also a good percent injun. or savage, if you will.

I think with all the PC extremism, whites need to demand to be called European American, as all the PC terms for race, are based on their regional basis. But it is obvious for many blacks, to call themselves and other blacks the "n" word, is mentally enslaving them, and brainwashing them to have a self hate form of racism, which equates with crime love and thug image. I never call my European American friends racially derogatory terms, and I sure would not refer to myself in that way. It's stupid, plain and simple, and should be called out and not allowed.

Anyone been following the Caucasian suicide-bomber story? One of the bombers was the teenage widow of a Dagestani seperatist leader who was killed by the Russians last year, along with Chechens, Abkhazis, Ingussetians, Georgians, and other various Caucasians. Anyone else here Caucasian?
