I have read probably every article on the net now about CPK levels and 1,000 is high but not crazy high. People with muscular dystrophy have levels of like 10,000. Also the bodybuilding forums had a dozen people in my same situation, strained themselves working out the day before a blood test and came back with a 1,000 cpk, went down in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for all your help guys. Here's to me not dying tonight. One thing that sucks is apparently CPK is what makes your muscles sore after working out, and at like 8x normal CPK levels you can imagine how much my muscles are sucking right now, I can barely walk up the stairs.

I am sure I have a potassium deficiency and every other deficiency too, I eat rarely and when i do eat I eat poorly. Between this little episode and my recent weight gain I think this is a great time to start living more healthy than I have been. I would eat nothing but alfalfa sprouts for every meal if it would mean me not ever feeling like I did last night.

I think we are all just glad to hear your OK.

I can't help but ask but did you get a prescription for something green while you were there?

Haha, no no green prescription for me. If I wanted one I wouldn't even have to go to a Dr, I could just have my boy get me one, but the wife would not be cool with it. I live too unhealthfully as it is nowadays. I wish i could replace drinking with smoking weed for the health reasons (like going from cigs to snus) but it's still not culturally acceptable in many circles such as my family.

I was thinking the same thing. Many people end up at the ER thinking they are having a heart attack, turns out to be a panic attack.

I have lived with panic attacks for 20 yrs. I've never passed out, but seriously close. With exertion and stress like you describe, I would have passed out for sure.

you've been to the ER before for heart flutters (the mj thread) and you checked out ok.

            Glad to hear it.

I would have treated you for dehydration just in case and just kept an eye on your vital signs and just got you to a doc. Otherwise I wouldn't have a clue what it was.

If you ever turn purple or ever see anybody turn purple - make sure you/they say goodbye.
