FOX News to Spill the Ugly Truth?

Has anyone heard about this? Not sure if this is true, but here it is.

This Coming Sunday  April 11, 2010

    Info for anyone interested.

This Coming Sunday-- Set Your DVR This Sunday at 9:00 PM eastern.  Maybe this is why the White House has been discounting FOX. Sounds like this could be History in the making - someone may go down - either Obama or Fox News.It may be that Fox has been holding this information back due to the sensitivity of it and out of courtesy.  But, Obama has taken on Fox and it appears they are ready to spill the ugly beans of truth about the background of this individual who has had an extremely radical past.This.  Sunday Fox news, is going to air a very important documentary about Barack Obama, Sunday night at 9 P M Eastern. The report will go back to Obama's earlier days, showing even then his close ties to radical Marxist professors, friends, spiritual advisers, etc. It will also reveal details about his ties to Rev. Wright for 20+ years, i.e., how he was participating with this man, and not for the reasons he stated. The report has uncovered more of Obama's radical past and we will see things that no one in the media is willing to put out there. It will be a segment to remember. Mark your calendar and pass this on to everyone you know:  Sunday night, 8 PM CT; 9 PM ET.  Democrat or Republican,  this report will open your eyes to how YOUR country is being sold down the road to Totalitarian Socialism.  If you care about the direction of our country, pass this notice on to everyone you know.

Totalitarian? First the right-wing media crams the word "socialism" into the mouths of ignorant masses who hardly understand its meaning within any historical context, and they love it, and now they're going for "totalitarian" gold? That not only insults the intelligence of reasonable people, it's a disrespect to people in this world who actually live under totalitarian regimes. Not that North Koreans are going to get wind of this... but Christ, what a joke! Where did that message come from ladysnus? I've got to watch this if it's real.

        thats a rerun
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Fox is losing credibility by the minute with me but I will watch the documentary to see what they have that i don't already know.

I just wonder why they keep making things up to discredit him (like him being a socialist) when there are so many REAL things to hate about him?

Like everyone glosses over the fact he attended a racist anti-american anti-white church for 20 years. What if Mccain had went to KKK rallies for 20 years? You needn't go further than his own book to dig up real dirt on him, but Fox has this new trend of just flat out making shit up and not fact checking and that is a real problem for me which is why I don't watch any of their programming anymore.

No reason to use words like socialism or totalitarian out of context, there is plenty of real dirt on this guy, no need to invent your own.

this was forwarded to me from my sister in law. From the way it reads, "set your dvrs" and "if you care about your country"! I think it sounds like a mass forward. That's why I was asking if any of you had heard of this. Some of you seem in the know. Personally, I don't watch the news.

Old news not done as well as others have. Seriously, Fox news is sensationalism at it's best. Like sgreger said, there is no reason to get wacky about it, the truth is strange enough.

                  Fox :?: News :?:

Fox doesn't care about news or truth it's about how many eyeballs they can get for advertising revenue. The trashier and the more controversial the better.

The article is too long to post here, if you want to read it go to the link 8)

I've found rolling stone, an ultra liberal to say the least magazine, to have some of the best written and well researched articles i've ever seen. They did one on the bailouts and Obama that was literally perfect in illustrating how nothing has changed from Bush to Obama and how the same corporations and banks are still running things.

Look, I agree with Fox's message which is that Obama is bad, what I don't agree with is their message that THEY are good. After seeing how Palin and the now republican controlled tea party movement have dragged the republicans into a brand new kind of stupid, I find myself even more disenfranchised than ever.

We need a libertarian or independent version of fox news. See, I like how fox constantly tries to dig up dirt on the opposition, that's not only entertaining, but it's what journalism was meant to do, be the watchdog. But we need a station that diggs up dirt on both parties and exposes how they both just pay lip service to their constituents, while rarely delivering on the majority if their promises.

That being said, it is fact that Obama has surrounded himself with radicals his whole life, whether they be marxists or racists, that I have no question of as he has self admitted them, but that doesn't matter. What matters is what decisions he actually makes as a president, and for the most part I don't see socialism or totalitarianism. I see populist speeches and an attempt at enlarging the feds control of things and endorsing the CONTINUANCE of the welfare state. Obama didn't start the welfare mentality but he caters to it, and thinks that government subsidies and gov bailout money is what will fix things. I wouldn't even care about that if it weren't for the fact that WE ARE OUT OF MONEY.

I am not even caring about petty issues like abortion or shit like that anymore, I will vote for whoever (dem, rep, or other) who's platform is to stop the spending and get our deficit under control. There is a MAJOR crisis looming in the coming decade if we don't handle our debt situation. Dems and reps have abused their power to control our money. Spending is out of control, and between republicans spending on war and democrats spending on subsidies and other entitlements (which reps also do), it is NOT SUSTAINABLE even in the slightest.

The feds have to raise interest rates soon, they cannot maintain at these record lows. Spending MUST be cut or taxes MUST raise and both of those decisions have major political consequences, which is why no politician has dealt with it in recent years. I will vote for whoever comes in and makes that tough decision. The United States, like most Americans, are living beyond their means right now. We can't fight 2 wars, subsidize everyone's health care, and give billions of dollars in bailout money to our financial institutions all at the same time, it is just not freaking sustainable.

The madness must stop, or else it all comes crashing down. I have children to raise and mouths to feed. Someone needs to fix this so I can accomplish the dream my ancestors laid out in the constitution: my and my families right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, none of which can be continue to be guaranteed if we don't fix this mess fast.

A lot of people don't like FOX, but I'd rather watch that than CNN, or MSNBC. And while FOX may seem totally critical of Obama, the other netwroks are like paid Obama propagandists.

the very idea that this phony pseudo-news network would use the slogan "fair and balanced" is an insult to the intelligence of the viewer. the fact that FOX blurs the line that separates legitimate of news and biased commentary isn't only irresponsible, it can be downright dangerous. really folks, don't get your information from Rupert Murdoch and his demagogues. FOX news makes suckers out of its viewers on a daily basis, and they're well aware of it. pity their viewers aren't.

yeah they totally make shit up. the only time i ever watched it they were airing a really halfassed apology about a story they aired the day before about a kid who sent some cookies to his local police force and was arrested and accused of putting marijuana and lsd in the cookies.

turns out they were just cookies.

You guys need to be more fair here.

On one side you have fox whose mission is to destroy democrats 24/7, and I think thy are pretty upfront about what their purpose is.

But the democrats cable station have been reduced to nothing more than a state sponsored media outlet. They barely even do any thinking, they just parrot whatever the whitehouse releases to them, with almost no critical thinking or analysis.

Cable news in general just sucks, it's either constant bashing and hating on the prez from fox or a white house echo chamber from the rest. You lose either way.

EDIT: Even Ron Paul says Obama's not a socialist. More of a corporatist than anything

                              http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/op...-90538989.html

Ron Paul is right. Obama has signed: a health-care bill that mandates we buy private insurance and has the endorsement of the drug industry; a tobacco regulation bill that earned the applause of the largest cigarette company in the country; a credit-card regulation bill that the banks like; a stimulus bill approved by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and nearly every lobby in the country; a Cash-for-Clunkers bill that subsidized automakers, car-dealers, and more. Also, Obama has a huge corporate lobby on his side for cap-and-trade legislation. Plus, Obama backed the Wall Street bailout, has stuck close to its main authors Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner, and even expanded the bailout.
