How did you discover this forum?

Don't remember exactly how but buysnus.com briefly ran their very own snus forum until they were forced to close it down. They never said why but we speculated it had something to do with Swedish tobacco law.
Some days after the other site was put on ice (it stayed in read-only mode for months) I somehow wandered in and this place seemed like a ghost town except for Zero and occasionally Ice would pop in.
Boy how things have sped up :-D

I found it yesterday while searching for reviews of the USB snus fridge found on The Northerner site. Surfing around I found a lot of good information and I think I'll stick around some.

Growing up as a USA Copenhagen dipper, and quitting lots of times, I found snus in Umeå and Östersund several years ago. I was ice fishing up there and my friends there took Grov and I liked it. Heading down to Malmö where most of my relatives lived (Skåne, Blekinge, Västergötland) I was told to use General and not to speak that "horrible Jämtlandska". So I did. But back in Jämtland for more fishing I was told to use Grov and not that "horrible Skåneska".

I travel to Sverige 3-4 times a year for mileage runs and for drinking with my Swedish friends.

As far as which brand you use, no judgements here. We do like to hear about your experiances with whatever brand you use though. It helps us to decide what to try out next.

Like others, I ultimately found it through Google. I actually found Buysnus' locked forum first (they are still the first result, for some reason), read everything there, and then came here.

To be honest, I did not have high hopes for SnusOn since there were very few people posting at the time........what a difference a couple of years made! 8)
