    1st attempt at cooking curry...

So had a sudden craving for some spicy sweet yellow curry... Any other curry lovers? Having never made it before, my roomate and I found a simple recipe online and it turned out amazing!! Any other culinary inclined folks out there?? Apologies if there is already a food/cooking thread..

Id be willing to share the recipe if anyone was interested, it is sooo easy and tasty! Id love to hear some of your recipes too..

Love it! I made okra and cauliflower masala the other day. I'm still working on the recipe, but this was really good! Here's a pic.

I've cooked a lot of Indian dishes. I used to be a Hindu monk, and all we ate was Indian vegetarian dishes. I've cooked various curries, kormas, made chapatis, samosas, pakoras, and other things/dishes.

It's been a little while since I've made any Indian dishes though. I do love it. We have a couple of local Indian buffet places I like to go to.

Cooking curry is a messy mission. It's fun though. I usually go the Thai coconut milk spicey route. RobsanX, I'm curious - do you always take pics of your food? You have posted pics before in the cooking thread but I assumed you had photographed your meal for that purpose, but here you seem to have dug up a pic from a few days ago.

Yeah, I post on a couple cooking forums, so I take a lot of food pictures. My family thinks it's weird too! LOL!

All the good stuff I like I can't make at home.

I either don't have the ingredients or the time.

Looks good. I love a good curry, as long as I don't have to work the next day.
