The issue is he's a fraud, and if we don't chase him down on this issue, he becomes a standard, there will never be another person we can object to taking the oval office after he get's out and it is found we are not so crazy. Arnold 'da furer" for example. And contrary to many people's belief, there is a reason the Founding Fathers implemented this rule. Now I'm not gonna get all choked up like GB about this, but the constitution is the constitution, and it is the only reason this country has had a good generation or two, As far As I am concerned we are far too deep down the rabbit hole to reconcile anything, We are moments, ( read a year or two) away from Greek style F#ckUpedness. anyway If it is of no importance that our president be "natural born" than there is no importance whatsoever to the rest of our constitution, Which is What They Want. THAT IS ALL

Blue, bro, trust me I hear you. But cummon man, think about this for a second. Why is everyone questioning him about his immigration status, no one has questioned the president since, well, forever. It's because he's black. And that's cool. theres nothing wrong with that. We were just having segregation not even that long ago. i get it. theres nothing racist about it. on top of it he only has a COLB and lived part of his life in indonesia, and there is little record of his life. how did some nobody black guy,( and I don't' mean that in a racist way, it's just that others have tried before him) come to power? Think about it man. because he knows how to play the game. the guy plays american idol every time he's behind a mic. he acts like a celebrity and america LOVES a celebrity. Is he not fit under the constitution to serve? Maybe, but EVEN THE REPUBLICANS couldn't prove anything. my point is that this guys story is full-proof. Whether it's true or not doesn't matter, it's all about what you can prove. The dude has a COLB with 2 corroborating newspaper reports of his birth. Thats as solid as it gets. no court could EVER rule agains that ever.
I understand it sets precedent, but Arnold "da furer"??? Dude i live in CA, arnold is not a dictator, he is just weak ass bitch republican who folds to every liberal he comes into contact with. He's not some nazi, he's just weak. Trust me i've been here for a while.
Really I don't trust Obama's background but the dude won fair and square. I criticize his policy because he is too much like Bush but really there has been no significant change here. He is a puppet tool like our last 10 presidents. Nothing different. Should he be required to prove he's eligible to serve as president, YES. But the COLB is federally recognized, therefore he HAS qualified as president. i hate him as much as the next guy but really theres no case here. He HAS submitted his birth certificate, a federally recognized form of proof that he is a US born citizen, no court can order he show something that he couldn't produce. Hawaii gave out COLB's at the time, and be that as it may, that is federally recognized. Therefore he is legit as far as the law is concerned.
There is no legal basis to claim he is not eligible. There is no "why doesn't he just show proof". he has shown proof and by any federal standard it counts as proof. therefore he passed the test. End of story man. I hate to say it but that's the fact, he has already shown his birth certificate and theres no way to get around that.

Yeah sorry guys I'm in a foul mood. Wasn't trying to call anyone out. Seems like there's been a shitload of obama threads lately, and while most of you know that I'm a hell of a lot more liberal than many here, Im definitely not swinging on his nutz. I prefer constructive and thoughtful criticism or a good rant to rehashing the right wings's most pathetic daily propaganda pieces. As for the conspiracy comment, can anyone deny that they've heard some of the most painfully absurd expalations for shit on this forum? Lol. By all means post what you want, I'm just speaking my peace. Wa3zrm, sorry if I came off like a dick. I should go into confessional.

He's a doctor, so he probably has numerous cute young subordinates.
Get caught nailing one, making inappropriate advances, etc. If that doesn't work, wash, rinse, repeat until you either retire or they accept you resigning your commission. It's reasonably "safe" to go this route. The military, in my experience, is very methodical and progressive about things like this. The first one would probably be a reprimand and a reassignment. The next one they would probably strongly suggest that he resigns his commission, or face a demotion or even a discharge. Either way, they probably won't send you on deployments while this is going on.
I'm betting on politically motivated moron, I just posted the other option to be fair.
I suspect that he thinks the military court will buy his argument and subpoena for the birth certificate. I don't see that happening.

Obama threads? you mean like the 12 Waz3rm posted today? lol I didn't notice.
Honestly, we endured 8 years of Bush being protested against, called a nazi and burned in effigy. So it's all fair game now. Frankly I don't agree with this interview at all and I think Cooper brought up some great points. But this is what you get when you run a campaign claiming you will rid washington of corruption, bring transparency and an end to lobbyists. When you do the exact opposite, this is the effect you can expect.

I think Cooper came off bad, like a paid White House bully. Now, I am not a "birther", at least now right now, I haven't really studied it. But Cooper just parroted the liberal jargon, and would not let the lawyer guy speak hardly, and so what if he wanted his lawyer to speak?
But my wife asked a good question as we watched this(yes, she's a semi Obama fan), if the past presidents(recent ones) showed their long form birth certificates? Anyone know? If the last few did, and Obama won't, that might add to the controversy.

No as far as I know you dont have to show your birth certificate and I dont think anyone in recent years has. But if showing your birth certificate were part of the process, than he would have already had to show it to become president, so the whole issue would be moot (since he obviously became president).
