    Lack of Sleep Linked to DEATH!!!

    People who get less than six hours sleep per night have an increased risk of dying prematurely, researchers said.

    Those who slumbered for less than that amount of time were 12 percent more likely to die early, though researchers also found a link between sleeping more than nine hours and premature death.

    "If you sleep little, you can develop diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and high cholesterol," Francesco Cappuccio, who led research on the subject at Britain's University of Warwick.

    The study, conducted with the Federico II University in Naples, Italy, aggregated decade-long studies from around the world involving more than 1.3 million people, and found "unequivocal evidence of the direct link" between lack of sleep and premature death.

    "We think that the relationship between little sleep and illness is due to a series of hormonal and metabolic mechanisms," Cappuccio said.

        I am more than sure that diet has a lot to do with this. In studies like this I find there are so many other factors to take in account that one would be hard press to link premature death to one or two things. Very interesting, none the less.

            I worry little about death. Death was always a sure thing but in todays culture the food, water, and air are tainted. Even if one follows all the rules they will likely die from cancer or heart attack. I eat steak, use tobacco, and drink beer, and I bet I will live as long as my wife who does none of those.


            Future scientists will release peer-reviewed paper titled "Everything gives you cancer". Everything is a carcinogen it seems, so i'll pick the carcinogens that I enjoy most, such as snus. No more harmfull than eating GMO foods or crappy meat, and there's science to back that up.
