Did you hook up with a Vietnamese prostitute in 1992 and tell her of your plan to take over the world?

Funny, I always thought making stupid people feel smart was a function of the Daily Show. I like Glenn Beck, a lot. I find him truthful, correct and entertaining. What more do you need? But it's fun to hate, I guess. I rarely watch his tv show or any television, for that matter. Maybe that's why I'm so stupid? I prefer radio and reading. Sometimes books with no pictures!

I dont buy the idea that he, orielly, savage etc are popular because "theres a lot of stupid people". They are popular for a reason, as in this country we have always been critical of government since our very beginning, and these pundits are critical of the government, so people like them. This country is the product of one of the most historical revolutions of all time. We told the queen of england to f*ck herself and came here to make our little piece of the pie.

They are popular because the majority of America agrees with them. Deal with it.

Yeah I definitely should have kept my opinion to myself on that one. Sorry bsd777, no I do not think you are stupid for watching or appreciating Glenn Beck. I retract my statement, it was untrue and, well, stupid.

Glenn Beck is an entertainer, and should be appreciated in that light. I am not calling him or anyone that likes him idiots, but I will call them ignorant if they take his opinions as legitimate calls to action.

And 1990 will from hereon be known as the year that the cold war ended and the snuson war on prostitutes began.

If you weren't supposed to kill the hooker, why'd they make the trunk hooker-sized?

No he's a converted Mormon who says he drank Vodka and smoked
                a bong for 25 years.

He should have stuck with the bong.

He says that his conversion to Mormonism helps his sobriety.
I guess because they don't use anything, including coffee.

Beck’s oft-ridiculed penchant for punctuating his tirades with tears is the hallmark of a distinctly Mormon mode of masculinity. As sociologist David Knowlton has written, “Mormonism praises the man who is able to shed tears as a manifestation of spirituality.” Crying and choking up are understood by Mormons as manifestations of the Holy Spirit. For men at every rank of Mormon culture and visibility, appropriately-timed displays of tender emotion are displays of power.

Beck is a million times better than ED, Rachael, Keith, and now, Anderson, and he used to be the sane one over there.

                      Keith Rules!

                      Glenn Beck is a fraud.
He gets the pro wrestling crowd.

What I can't stand when watching CNN and msnbc, esp CNN, is those commentators speak and act like they are paid propagandists of the White House. They never seem to be critical of it at all, and most of their shows are just bashing the more right sided commentators.

You mean the same Kieth Olberman who spit out this litle gem in regards to Scott Brown:

(Brown is) "an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, tea-bagging supporter of violence against women and against politicians with whom he disagrees."

Of course he retracted the statement after even the daily show made fun of his lying nonesense. And ironcally, Scott Brown is one of the least extreme republicans and agrees with Obama and the dems on a lot of issues.

All these talking heads are the same, they are all doing it for ratings, one side grabs the liberal demographic and the other side grabs the conservative demographic, it's just how things go. Most of the comments on both sides are blown out of proportion for the purpose of entertainment.

Yeah but you can't say Glenn Beck is funny when he does it, at least not intentionally so. Keith is hilarious. Beck is just an insufferable douchbag of the highest order.

Beck is just a winey little bitch, that's why I don't listen to him. It's like listening to some kid talk about how their parents are taking all their freedoms. I agree with a lot of his message but no need to be such a douchebag about it.

I prefer the daily show to any of the "news" talking heads. At least John Stewart points out the hilarious insanity of what is going on in the world of politics.

It's like pro wrestling is called sports entertainment, today's "news" is news entertainment.
