    Kids do the cutest things...

This weekend, we were at my sisters wedding, and I was explaining to my daughter what was going on. I told her, "She's getting married to him." My daughter asked me, "Who am I married to?" I said "No one, and you're not gonna get married." and laughed. She looked at me all serious and said, "But daddy, I want to get married!" I was like, "You can get married when you're 35." She said "But I wanna get married today!" It was funny.

Anyone care to share any funny moments with your kid(s)?

    No

    but your story was cute.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Well.last week, my daughter said her first word. A little back story, we try to limit how much we use the word "No" with her, so my wife has taken taken to saying Uh-Oh when Rhiannon (my daughter) get's in to stuff she's not supposed to. So of course Rhiannon decided that she wanted that to be her first word, so for the past week she's been crawling around the house saying "Uh-Oh!" at the top of her lungs . It's been extremely amusing to us.

        Chad, you started too late.

I'm been training mine on 2 important things since the beginning:

        1. No one gets married until they get their Phd.
        2. Everyone needs a big house because I'm going to stay with each of them for 4 months out of the year.

So far, 6, 9, 11 - they are ok with the master plan.

Driving though town we passed a house that we noticed got gutted and remodeled. Each day or thereabouts we'd notice the progress as we drove by. The kids were in the back seat and sometimes we'd comment to them. One of the days they had begun hanging this nice blue siding on the side of the house. When we said "Look, they're finally putting siding on the house." My, at the time 4 y/o, said "Well I sure hope they put on a fronting and a backing on it too."

My daughter says all kinds of cute words now, or so i'm told. Ironically she has decided to make most of her first words in kapanpanang (my wife's native language). It sounds cute though! lol
