I'm guessing a flight across the ocean would be a long flight? Is it directly from the US to Sweden? I've flown a few times but all short flights in the US. Maybe you can catch some local bands like Unleashed or Dark Funeral too.

I'm thinking of moving to Sweden permenantly since I work for an internetional company that might just agree to re-station me there.

Thinking about doing that in the next year or two at the latest.

If Xanax doesn't calm your jitters, nothing will. Just don't drink any alcohol while the Xanax is in your system. Alcohol and benzodiazepines are a very dangerous combination.

I fly to the East Coast, and then to Stockholm, then to Goteborg area. It's a full day of flying, the international flight is 7 hours to cross the ocean.

i second that. but xanax mostly just makes me sleepy. if you drank with it, youd most likely fall asleep before you drank enough to do serious damage. right? thats stoner logic, heed my advice at your own risk.
