2-year-old throws tantrums when he can't light up

AKARTA, Indonesia - A video of smoking toddler is sparking outrage on the web. When the clip of 2-year-old Sumatran Ardi Rizal puffing away surfaced on YouTube Wednesday, it spread to online social media like, well, fire. Popular blog Gawker linked to the smoking baby video, calling him "totally cooler than you." But user Faldo777's response was the more typical response: "His parents should be jailed ..." In fact, his parents say Rizal throws a tantrum when they refuse to give him a cigarette. His father gave him his first smoke when he was just 18 months old.
The smoking toddler was witnessed by a reporter who recently visited his home in the fishing village of Musi Banyuasin, in Indonesia's South Sumatra province.

Terrible. It's amazing to me that so many good people try and try to have a child, and cannot for different reasons. Yet some folks, who don't deserve and are not responsible/mature enough for children, just continue to pump them out like a Pez dispenser. I see it all the time, women who are pregnant that smoke, do dope, drink, or don't even see their doc until like half-way through their pregnancy. Definately people who should have been sterilized years ago, continue to bring children into this world that they cannot nurture or support (MY TAX DOLLARS). Getting your child hooked on nicotine while their body (and lungs) are still developing, is not a cultural difference. It's pure idiocy and abuse.

I really think we should institute a new law. When you turn 18 years of age, you must successfully complete a mental health evaluation, IQ test, show proof of employment and/or college goals, etc. If the required is not met, you will be made infertile. Pass the tests and act like a dumb ass later, you will be made infertile. Way too many stupid people are continuing to procreate in this country and we are continuing to pay for their irresponsibilities. Okay, sorry I had to vent. I will remove myself from my soapbox.

Xanax, adderall, ritalin, and SSRI's are the new cigarettes to America's youth. They should go to a shrink weekly & down whatever pills are prescribed to them just because they're from a doctor, regardless of the potentially negative consequences long term ingestion of these meds could have, but god forbid they smoke a cigarette!
