Like others have said, the topics and forum tell you whether or not a given post will annoy you or not.

I don't carry. I barely leave the house - and I am more then covered here.
But, when I go inside someplace that has one of those "No Carry" signs, I don't think "Yay, I'm safe from gun-toting hooligans" or "Great, the massacre is going to happen inside here".
I mostly think, "Political idiots. Keep your freaking anti-gun politics to yourself. This is a place of business - focus on that."
Then I avoid them. I do not need politics with my tacos or my gasoline. I get those on SnusOn.

I was amazed there even were businesses that were "do not carry" businesses. Like, why not? Really, we have become so fearful as a society, this is why we don't win wars anymore and no one takes us seriously. The wild west has ironically turned into california, oh this beautiful struggle we call life.

Seems like the public is conditioned to be completely fearful of everything imaginable. I remember a few years back when concealed carry laws were changed here, the place i worked at started worrying about customers coming in with guns. Never really made sense to me. Even without the law(s) if someone wants to have a gun (or other weapon[s]) on them, they will regardless. Even so, looking at how we are told of all of the dangers that are about to strike at any given moment, you would think everyone would want the ability to defend themselves/ loved ones and property.

I started with the free tin of Camel SNUS, had my curiosity aroused, hit Google, found this site and started my transition from smoker to snuser. There is nothing new or compelling about my story but the very mundane nature of it speaks to the true value of this venue...helping to highlight another option that is available to fellow nicotine addicts/users/whatever that doesn't carry the same long term impact of more well known and more commonly used tobacco products.
As a long time reader, I've often run across posts that piqued my interest and have felt the desire to create an account, join the community and respond. I've always talked myself out of these actions, however, because I've been alienated by the harsh political rhetoric that is frequently on display at snuson. In an effort to rise above the typical arguments, I won't mention the specifics of the posts or posters but I wanted it to be known that potential community members are being driven away by the tone of the political conversation here, which has only become more strident since the election of Obama. There are a multitude of forums available for me to talk politics but only one decent one that focuses on the US snus user. It would behoove all of you (and benefit me, as well) if the extreme political talk could be taken somewhere where it is more appropriate. Honestly, I have been visiting this site less and less as the most active conversations seem to have shifted to stilted political views rather than snus and its users.
These people with believes like bsd777, wa3zrm, and some others are pretty dangerous in my opinion. I never really post on any forums I just like to read them so this will be the last you hear of me. I just had thank cthulu23 for his words.

Have you seen the recent news buzz about Helen Thomas, where she says the Jews need to get out of their occupied Palistine, and go back to Poland and Germany?
I have stated before, I am an idealist, more than a realist, when it comes to fantasizing about political utopians, as it's obvious our governments are doing the opposite of what they should be. I do like the aesthetic/artistic and socio-economic idealism of National Socialism, State Socialism, and original Fascism, but these words have gone through PC agenda'ed change, and have historical misuse, so I must add, I do not agree with oppressive ethnocentrism.

I've said it once but apparently some just don't get it. The threads with titles like "Will Obama be Impeached" are general political. Shocking, I know. If you are offended by political discussion and "just come here for snus talk" don't click those links, rather you'd want to click the thread links with titles like "What's Your Favorite Snus". But by all means, thank the guy who doesn't get that and criticizes the fact that political banter exists, then joins the political banter, then has a tantrum and leaves because he doesn't like what he hears.
I may be an asshole, but I'm hardly dangerous. The zombies and drones that repeat the things they hear people like Hellen Thomas write or say, then go to the polls and vote for people like Barny Frank, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama are the dangerous ones in my opinion.

Methinks there might be some puppet action going on around here. Possibly a disgruntled member who recently stated that the "political threads are the reason he no longer comes around much anymore" driving these comments. Just a possibility.
Edited to fix my spelling or usage of their- there
