Just to go slightly off topic a little but staying on topic at the same time....................

It was OK for the UK to go to war on the basis of WMD - oh yeah - that's alright even though they were advised that there weren't any WMD before they went in. But it's not OK for Israel to reactively defend itself to direct attacks on its own state or its own laws. One rule for one etc. But it was ok cause we're the west and we're the best.

7,299 Iraqi civilians were killed in the opening stage of this war - but that's alright.

I've spent a lot of time in Israel, and I like the people there a lot. They have a few simple rules that they live by including "don't **** with us or we'll kill you." This is a rule that needs to be respected. They aren't joking. This is not new either - the Israelis are known for being serious about their pronouncements. I couldn't care less about their religion, but I respect their commitment to their tiny piece of territory that loads of insane muslims seem intent on taking away from them.

So. It seems fair enough to me. Some activists came. Some got killed. "Told you so". Not everybody got killed, and no boats were sunk. If I were a Palestinian activist, I'd consider myself lucky.


By the way, this whole thing could be solved if Jordan or Egypt were to grant the Palestinians a few thousand square kilometres of un-needed desert land. But that might be too easy........

I have nothing against jews, as i have never met one, but hatred of jews have been before christianity or whatever born of time. Jews arent that innocent.

It's OK. Jews refer to their religious leader as a "teacher". Any group of people who place such emphasis on reading, learning and debating points of logic or theory are bound to be intelligent and successful.
