Mexico opens California office to provide IDs for illegals

Mexico opens California office to provide IDs for illegals...

Orriginaly it was to be established in Catalina Island Country Clu, but has since been moved to a Catholic Church – citing protection under the Geneva Convention.

How do you think Mexico would feel if we opened up an office in Mexico to help undocumented Americans move freely throughout the country? Probably wouldn't be too cool with that. Catalina Island has always been a hotspot for trafficking though so this doesn't surprise me.

Meanwhile: Debt under Obama increases $5 billion per day -- 3 times the Bush rate...

We're also $13 trillion in the red.

Calculated down to the exact penny, the debt totaled $13,050,826,460,886.97 as of Tuesday, leaping nearly $60 billion since Friday, the previous day for which figures were released.

We really need to start figuring out how to stop burning money in giant piles. End the wars and solve the immegration problem would be the first two things imo.

Send all the illegals home. Then maybe some of the roughly 25 million legal Americans could get back to work. Then we can work on the outsourcing problems.

        The problem is

        a) We can't realistically handle removing 20 million people (most living off the grid) from the country. The immense costs of just moving a battalion of 1,000 soldiersn to another country is staggering, and they all line up to go voluntarily. Rounding everyone up and deporting them is highly unlikely and may end up costing us more than it's worth. We need to eliminate the incentive by not allowing them to go on welfare and cracking down on businesses.

        b) I don't believe outsourcing is the result of an oversized labor force, but rather on the tendencies for corporations to be able to profit more by going overseas. I think this could be fixed by changing our tax laws and other regulatory practices to make it more "business friendly". While adding illegals into the workforce surely has some impact on jobs, I think that for the most part they work the lower level jobs, whereas most of the things we see outsourced are either phone-based customer service jobs or manufacturing. Neither of those pay very well in the United States so it is not beneficial to the worker who wishes to make a living wage, nor is it beneficial to the corporation who wishes to increase their bottom line. This is a fundamental problem that we have to work to fix, but I don't think kicking out all of the illegals will necessarily fix this.

We can deport them as we find them.

Unfortunately, it may be a little late to correct the problem now. It is something that should have been addressed 30-40 years ago. Now we're trying to dip water out of a sinking boat with a soup spoon. People will try to argue the whole "This country was founded on immigration....We're a melting pot" jargon. Yes that is true, but when people originally came to this country they did so because they wanted to become Americans. They assimilated. They learned the customs and language. The immigrants of today want the best of both worlds. Come to America for the opportunities, earn American money, and send the money back to their homeland. All the while flying their homeland flag, not the American flag.

Look at all the jobs it will create rounding them up and marching them across the border. AMERICAN JOBS.
The census workers are going to need something to do...
Obama is going to need something else to make the jobs numbers look good...

And besides, what's another trillion dollars....

That would just create more temporary government jobs. A favorite of Obama to make it look like he's doing something.

                Case in point:

                410,000 new jobs this month!!!!
Oh, but: Government Jobs Account for 95% of Job Increases...

All but 41,000 are TEMPORARY government jobs.

These people are all crooks. If we're going to crash our economy and blow trillions of dollars, we may as well be spending the trillions getting drunk and throwing a nationwide party before it completely collapses.

IT is getting hit pretty hard too. Very nice paying jobs, too. As the jobs leave, students change majors and the companies cry they can't find people to hire, thus allowing more h1-B visas for on shore workers who the redirect work off shore even more as coordinators.

I feel like it would be cheaper to deport them than pay for generations of healthcare, schooling, and prison tabs. If they don't get deported what is stopping more from coming. Why would they believe we would enforce our revised rules when we have given them a free pass multiple times. How is it hard to figure out that we have an all time high of illegal immigrants and millions of Americans out of work. Does anyone really believe that they aren't related.
