It is the secret of a century. He had those towers he was building wich could pull free energy from the sky. Have you never heard of the lightbulbs on the hill deal?

"The difference between a current that can be used to run, say, a sewing machine and a current used as a method of destruction, however, is a matter of timing. If the amount of electricity used to run a sewing machine for an hour is released in a millionth of a second, it would have a very different, and negative, effect on the sewing machine.
Tesla said his transmitter could produce 100 million volts of pressure with currents up to 1000 amperes which is a power level of 100 billion watts.
If it was resonating at a radio frequency of 2 MHz, then the energy released during one period of its oscillation would be 100,000,000,000,000,000 joules of energy, or roughly the amount of energy released by the explosion of 10 megatons of TNT.
Such a transmitter, would be capable of projecting the energy of a nuclear warhead by radio. Any location in the world could be vapororized at the speed of light" (Smith, HAARP, p. 43).

It's a different set of issues (and I realize we are splitting hairs here).

IMO, the oil spill issue we are looking at here is that, what makes perfect sense at 500 feet was applied to a 5000 foot well. Clearly there were design flaws and omissions here.

        That's funny.

This is a seriously complicated frame-up job. (Interesting story though.)

Tom, the site you provided says Tesla claimed it could produce 100 billion volts of voltage? That's crazy, he beat his own record, since 100 billion volts is 20 x world's largest Tesla coil voltage (~~ 5x10^6 V )

@ Truthwolf: Your statement is full of math errors:

Actually 1x10^17 (1 quadrillion) joules of energy equals 23.9 megatons of TNT, a 139% increase over the 10 megatons they claim on this site.

That's a LOT of power. I mean I have read this type of article before but these numbers to me just seem too extravagant. To put it in perspective, 1 quadrillion juelles of energy is equivalent to:

          6.24151x10^35 eV (electronvolts)
~0.57 x total energy from the sun that hits the earth every second(~~ 1.74x10^17 J )

And then he goes on to say that it can produce 100 billion watts. Holy moly batman, that's 0.0077 or 1/130th of average global power consumption (~~ 1.3x10^13 W ), or enough to power 16.67 million to 33.3 million households.
Though I suppose he's right that it could be dispersed very quickly to cause devistating effects, but I don't know how he would "move the power through the earth" to remote locations and then dump all this energy to create a nuclear explosion, doesn't seem like that would work for a variety of reasons.

I wouldn't expect any of these numbers to be solid though because the source for these numbers is a guy who's book is about HAARP. I believe there is another, unstated purpose for HAARP but i've notice that almost everything written about it from the conspiracy theorists always has crappy math.

          From your site:

"J.P. Morgan and Thomas Edison also burned down his laboratory which contained many of his electrotherapeutic and life saving medical devices. The scientific, medical, and financial loss to all mankind was incalculable. "

If he had invented something and was keeping it in a secret place that got burned down, why didn't he just make another one? It's not like he has to start from scratch. And what evidence was there that he created any"electrotherapeutic" device?

"Tesla was a man of peace and he envisioned using electricity as a SHIELD to protect any nation from an invading force . . . and thus end all wars....To accomplish this he designed a PEACE RAY which the media quickly dubbed a DEATH RAY. "

But using an electronic shield to keep illegal immegrants out is a crime against humanity, a violation of civil rights and extremely racist! Why does Nicole Tesla hate freedom?

"If it was resonating at a radio frequency of 2 MHz, then the energy released during one period of its oscillation would be 100,000,000,000,000,000 joules of energy, or roughly the amount of energy released by the explosion of 10 megatons of TNT.
Such a transmitter, would be capable of projecting the energy of a nuclear warhead by radio. Any location in the world could be vapororized at the speed of light" (Smith, HAARP, p. 43)."

          Then it goes on:
"Tesla saw this (going to the north pole) as a most advantageous and probably last chance to test his Wardenclyffe PARTICLE BEAM or PEACE RAY. The North Pole was uninhabited so there would be no loss of life when he aimed his PARTICLE BEAM at the frozen tundra. "

Yah, no harm no foul, except for when you hit the frozen tundra with a sudden burst of 1 quadrillion joules of energy a tlight speed. I would imagine that would have some devistating effects.

"The very intelligent Russians soon put two and two together and approached Tesla to acquire his technology. Tesla offered his invention to the U.S. government first but they turned him down. Later, he offered it to the British but they showed no interest in a weapon that could annihilate any invading army or air force. "

Lololoololol, okay, i'm stopping right there. Surely the US or Europe would have no intirest in a super weapon that can pinpoint nuke anything anywhere on earth. Surely.

Tom, if the Russians had acquired such a device, there would have been no cold war, and they wouldn't have invested all that money trying to invent the atom bomb when they had this "particle beam" weapon that is a million times better.

Well, he did make a vibrating platform that gave people diarrhea - he used it as kind of a party trick.
