Last I heard there were 3 leaks, and most of the oil is deep under being suppressed by the massive pressure into giant underwater clouds of smoke. If they reach a current tehy oculd be spread all over. Also I heard that it's not just oil leaking out but also toxic chemicals that, if not contained, will get into the atmosphere and the clouds will rain it down in people which is why so many people have began getting sick in those regions.
