    Chicago Blackhawks - Stanley Cup Winners

    I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and used to go see them play at the old Chicago Stadium.

    Yes sir we one it. Graet game great series and great run. Great Endin Kaner put that puck in there so good nobody but him new it was there lol Teams good enough and young enough that we just may have a lil run of these thing. All I can say is thank you to Rocky Wirtz for putting the games back on T.V. And doing everything he could to bring Lord Stanley's cup back to the city of Broad shoulders.

    JT what suburb did you grow up in?

      I remember that my dad gave me a Blackhawks cap when I was about 6 y.o. they have had their place in my heart ever since I saw Jeff Hackett dominate the cage in 1997–98.
      So this is just pure happines right now, words can be spoken, but they will never explain the feelings I experienced when Kane put that puck in the back of the net! I waited so long, and id wait forever, Go Blackhawks! <3

        I was for sure that it was going to be decided in game seven when Flyers tied it up in the 3rd. I was watching and rootting for the blackhawks to take it ever since the start of the playoffs. Good job guys, you definitly deserve it! Wish they would have won it at home though.

          I'm surprised since Hockey is popular in Sweden, it isn't discussed more on the SnusOn.

                St. Joe -> 1 1/2 year St. Ed's 70-71,72 -> Elgin Larkin the last 2 1/2 years.

                Go Green Wave! ?

                I actually started working at 14 y/o in a burger joint. My parents got the bright idea to make me pay for 1/2 my tuition, I said hell no, I'm not paying 1/2 for a school I don't want to go to, so I switched to public school. We had "open campus" which meant you could spend your free periods across the street at McDonalds, smoke cigarettes and think we were sooo cool. lol.

                    mmmmmmmmmmmm Farrell's was awesome. Also bought many tickets at the ticketmaster in Sear's and went ice skating many times at the rink in Woodfield mall. I was HS Class of '81 at Schaumburg HS. Lived right near Woodfield in Hoffman Estates from around '73 until '77 when we moved further west and south into Schaumburg.
