    I miss it already...

    http://www.arthurbryantsbbq.com/

I ate at the original Tuesday afternoon. Words cannot describe the experience. I'm having pangs now like someone showed me air and took it away...

People and the world around us. If you ever find yourself in Kansas City 'DO NOT' miss Arthur Bryant's. Skip breakfast and dinner the day before.

I think I saw something about them on the Food Network. Man it looked good
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

We almost stopped there on a recent road trip. Will definitely have to do it for real soon.

My wife and I visited my folks in Oklahoma for Father's Day, and we stopped at Arthur Bryant's on the drive there. I read some reviews before going there, and the reviews say the beef is outstanding, and the pork is average. I would definitely agree with that assessment. My wife and I both got combos, so between us we had sliced brisket, burnt ends, ribs, and pulled pork.

The brisket and burnt ends were off the hook, tender with great flavor.

The pulled pork was good, but not outstanding. I didn't really care for the sauce they used, and would rather they not put sauce on it at all. Let me add my own.

The ribs were disappointing. They were not tender, and they were dry. I don't like ribs that fall off the bone, but I do like the meat to pull away clean when I bite them. They didn't have great flavor either. It was hard to tell if they were rubbed, but if they were there was little or no salt in the rub.

All-in-all in was a great experience, and I would definitely go back to eat that beef again!

I smoked some ribs for the first time last sunday in my new el cheapo Brinkman smokeing grill ($40), and they tasted good but weren't exactly how I like them, think i may brine them first next time.....
