    IPAD, IPHONE APPS: What are your favorite

    Post your favorite apps for IPAD, IPhone/touch or even Droid!



    I just got my ipad and need some ideas about what's cool and what isn't.

    The coolest stuff i've found was:

    5-0 scanner, that lets me monitor police and EMT radios in real time anywehre in the US.

    Civilizations Revolution

    Ishoot-Simulated artillery game

    Animation Pro (not sure if name is right)- It lets me animate stick figures having sex, which is great for killing time/making the wife think i'm a creeper.



    What are your guys favorites, and what would you recommend!

    Battle for wesnoth to kill time on iPhone. Still looking for my fave app on iPad, but all of the ones I do use and have are beautiful.

      I heard that game was awesome, havn't tried it yet though.

      I like the old game "Zuma" and found a similar game called Dazzle or something. It is amazing, much better than Zunma and worth the couple of bucks.


      Any cool usefull apps? I already have wired, drudge report, nyt, wsd, pop science and some other news stuff but are there any apps that make the ipad/iphone do anything cool that normally it wouldn't do? Like how one app I know of allows you to wirelessly print from the ipad.

          I just bought that right now! Tower defense games are my favorite, and this game looks pretty cool (though I only have got to play it once). It has a nice 3d interface, more than I was expecting.

            There's a fish pond app that's free, it's pretty cool on the ipad to just show to other people.

            I have engaget and some other business news app, if I could multi-task I'd go look lol.

              ah yes, bloomberg and craigsphone.

              Reign of swords was good too, Reign 2 not as much.

                Craigsphone? I have cragslist pro but never heard of cragsphone, what is that?

                Can't wait for them to release the new software update later this year which will allow you to multitask. I personally don't need to multitask but would be cool to have the option.


                Also, they are coming out with a grand theft auto IPAD bersion later this month, the graphics are supposed to be sweet.
