Warren Buffet to give 99% of $$$ to charity

Warren Buffet pledges 99% of his wealth to charity

"In 2006, I made a commitment to gradually give all of my Berkshire Hathaway stock to philanthropic foundations. I couldn't be happier with that decision. Now, Bill and Melinda Gates and I are asking hundreds of rich Americans to pledge at least 50% of their wealth to charity. So I think it is fitting that I reiterate my intentions."

So he is trying to get the rich people to give away most of their money to charity. I can see how this is going to play out:

    From: Steve Jobs
RE: Bill and Melinda Gates and I are asking hundreds of rich Americans to pledge at least 50% of their wealth to charity

If Steve Jobs could make this country function as smoothly as my IPAD, he's got my vote. Expect major inflation though if he gets elected, suddenly something that should cost 20 bucks (like 5 gigs of memory) now cost 150$ lol.

I hope they've heard of my favorite charity, the LSRF (Langdell Snus Relief Fund).

he's earned his billions off the backs of the little people. it's good that he's giving it back to them.

It's a nice gesture of him to do, but I really don't expect too many others are going to be following him in trying to give away the vast wealth they've accumulated. People are greedy.
