Maybe I'm just paranoid, but why do I have the sinking feeling that there is an evil conspiracy lingering around this oil spill. When they try to talk to the workers doing clean-up they cover their faces with black bandanas or run to their vehicles and peel out. It's like they're trying to interview the guards at Area 51. WTF?

Thomas Jefferson bought the vast majority of the land in the USA from the French without asking a damn person..............If I were the good senator I would have authorized the Dutch to send their skimmers and begin skimming off my coast at once........................then let Washington try to find a way to spank me without loosing all face and credibility.

The issue is money Fl wants the feds to foot the bill otherwise there would be skimmers in place.

Good night we politicize any and everything................and on both sides the game is simply to tell the same lie....................but better than your opponent.

Meanwhile the people take sides, debate, and vote on who will be screwing them for the next 4 years
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Red tape and bureaucracy will be the death of us all. Too much red tape to allow people from other countries to help when we need it the most. Incredible.

If aliens attacked, could you imagine how long it would take for all the nations to get together and come up with a plan? It would take years to say the least, and we would bankrupt ourselves just paying for all the studies and focus groups/think tanks we would have to commision to come up with a solution in the first place.

Anyways, I can't see the video, what is it about?

He basically talks how we have 2000 skimmers in the US but were using 20 off the coast of FL , when he asks why, they say well, in case we have another oil spill silly, we can't have em all in one place.... lol
Also he talks how the Dutch have offered us their super skimmers, but uh no thanks. WTF

Oh and 21 offers from 17 other countries have been denied....

We could really use an Extraterrestrial intervention right about now.

I'd settle for a proper terrestrial intervention...

An extraterrestrial intervention is more likely than a proper terrestrial intervention by the looks of things lately.
