Now seriously, that is something I could not do. Just the thought of it freaks me out more than a spider on me. I'm so afraid of snakes, I have to close my eyes to pee.

Ah, fuzzy jumpers :^D I don't know what they're really called, but that's what I call them. I /think/ mine may be a wolf spider, but I haven't found a good matching picture. He was a rich chestnut brown, quite lovely actually, but I haven't found one that looks like it yet :^/

now your going to have to pay a security deposit for pets I bet
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Your story gives me the heebie-jeebies! I stepped on one of these bastards the other day and about 100 little baby spiders bailed off and began running in all directions. It looked like someone screamed La Migra down at the tortilla hut. I looked like a professional tap dancer.

                      Yuk...

I'm sitting here with my legs tucked up in the chair like a little girl. Every so often I think of that thing running up my leg, and I shudder.

                      Sweet dreams...

Yes! That's exactly what my situation looked like! I'm so creeped out reading this thread right now that if a spider makes an impromptu appearance I'll will soil myself and run down the highway shedding clothes! Watch for me on the 10 O' Clock news. I think I'll make my way over to a nice gentle thread now, I'm even starting to see things moving in my peripheral vision. I know spiders are an integral part of the food chain, but damn't! The only thing that would make them creepier is if they had wings! I hate the ones that run across your kitchen floor at about 85 MPH at 3 o' clock in the morning!

Imagine something the size of a 20 story building comes at you with malice..................but instead of running you turn on it and face it down...............That's a spider

One of the most kick ass creatures on the planet................the marines of the bug world

nonetheless.............lx................ that bug would have had to die
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

                              I do that too.

It's weird. I don't even particularly hate spiders. But when I see one... WHAM! Hey look a spider!

                                monkey balls keep spiders away

Osage orange. They grow around here.

People put them in there basements. You have to toss them when they start to rot. Usually 3-4 months later.
