LOL Love Monty Python (Olbermann, not so much)

I would love to see a day where there were no parties (political of course) and candidates campaigned on a platform of actually trying to make things better. Oh, and everyone received a lump sum of money for campaigning (the same amount) and it was up to them how to use it. Once it was gone, they were out. That would level the playing field. Oh and voters actually read about the issues and made informed decisions. Since by that time there would be no more political parties, the ole trick of just marking everyone with a "D" or "R" would be non-existant so people would have to know what the candidates stood for so they knew how to vote.

Of course I know this will never happen, but one can dream.
