The way I see it, you have a job. If you are waiting for women to ever admit when they are wrong, well..............

Aww LaZ, my heart goes out to you.

The job situation sucks, man. I had a situation similar a couple of years ago. It took me over two years to have a meaningful conversation with the douche bag but now I think he's ok. I guess I think that only 'cos I won. I opted for setting him up for failure though I definitely would have rathered taking him behind BigBlue's wood shed. I think life was better when men could do stuff like that. We're a simple species, really. Don't forget to make yourself look good to the bosses too, and especially in front of him. Maybe suggest that he'd be good at a task that you know he wouldn't be or one that he hates. Ha! That's always fun. I did that with my guy. He truly despises the added task, but he truly is good at it...just hates it. Two years later, I've fessed up to being the orchestrator but it has made him extra money...even if begrudgingly.

The woman problems can be more tricky. I think it's due to the simple fact that they are women. Like the old adage goes: Doctors don't slap babies on the ass when they're born to make them breathe...they do this to knock the dicks off of the stupid ones. Actually, I'm kidding there. The women I've been involved with have been smart it's just the logic and thought process that I am still figuring out. After 11 years with the strong-willed Irish lassie that I have I've learned that she is very good at getting me to do what she wants em to do and usually when she wants me to do it. Once I recognized that I decided that I'd dust off my pimp hand and see how that goes. I would never hit her, but once I stopped being uber nice 100% of the time life got better. You gotta look out for number one, man. If you're seriously thinking about promoting her to general (marriage) you gotta be sure you can run the war together (or alone if need be) or she'll take control of everything and you'll be cleaning toilets and ironing uniforms before you know it.

As for your posts I friggin' love them...but I miss the floppy signature. I come here for a reprieve too.

Everyone falls down. Champions just take less time to get back up. I hope that you can fix things to the way you like them and I hope that you post away while you do.

      Go LaZ!!!

I say go get a bit drunk (not over the top) and then spend a bit of time thinking (after you are sober :P)

To help you mull it over, here is a chart I made for someone else but it might help you in the decision making process:

          Lazer,

Everyone goes through similar stuff to some degree. I hope your perspective improves soon.

I'm not aware of your history with the meds. Unless the the past 72 hours are the temporary result of a new med, I'd highly recommend you do your own research and perhaps shop for a different doctor. There are lots of drugs for depression and some doctors are better suited for this type of thing than others. Have you ever tried SAM-e? It's very mild, and may not be right for you, but it's an over the counter supplement. Many European doctors prescribe it.

I'd disagree with the joke regarding doctors slapping baby butts. I think women are often smarter than men. But they are more emotional and some are can be highly irrational. Just a heads up, it gets worse during pregnancy, when many would temporarily fit the definition legal insanity. This one might not be for you. Do not be afraid to walk away. Any problems you have now, if unresolved , will only get worse after marriage. It's better and easier to cut the cord now, before children.

Most everybody has to deal with weasels at work. You've taken care of the most important part, early identification.

          Hope today is better.

What's with the gay cowboy holding his junk?

Thanks again to all who have posted in my thread. Just to update:

Looks like I'm single now, again...

Concentrating my efforts on my job now which I don't 'think' will be an issue - probably just part of my paranoia.

Started on "Abilify" samples as of Saturday morning. Hope my doc can get it approved through my insurance cause they wouldn't authorize as of last week and it was going to cost me $475.00 a month.
                    - I'm also going to begin looking into alternative OTC herbal medicines. Part of my burn out is all these depression/anxiety trial and errors over the past XX years.

                    /Thanks again all.

Blah.. I just realized how 'Gay' the gay cowboy touching himself looks in my sig so I'm going to remove it now. Not that theirs anytihng wrong with that...

I'm glad to hear you sound like you are doing better.

BTW - I don't think they carry any anti-depressants, so it may be totally useless info, but Alldaychemist is a great source for inexpensive Indian generic drugs.

Exercise and snus are not mutually exclusive. I always snus when I run or at the gym.

I became very lethargic and depressed whenever I quit dip. It will pass, then again maybe you are self medicating?

                            I'll check this out. Thanks.

Actually I just ordered "Sensoril" pills from Swanson Health Products. I won't get into these until the latest round of prescription crap fails and/or until I talk with at least my family MD. Screw the phsyco, I don't expect him to be ok with anything non-prescrip for some reason... Anyone ever hear of or use "Sensoril"?

Sorry never heard of Sensoril. A psychologist? Your suspicion may be correct. They have a reputation for prescribing drugs. It's what they do. I don't want to get too personal here, but are you sure you suffer from depression? Have you ever gone to anyone for testing? There are specialists that can test for depression, ADD, ADHD, bi-polar etc. If you've never been, you might want to get tested. Sometimes people with ADHD are misdiagnosed as depressed and vise verse. Your family MD might be able to recommend someone.
