sagedil: Thanks...oh yeah, she was happy. When we look "normal", everyone says the daughter is a mini-me! Just wish the photographer got one of the 3 of us and the son though. Yes it is Badfish! That's my ball python Pandora, and I have 3 other snakes too... 2 corn snakes (Pinkie and Demon), and a brazilian rainbow boa named Pandia

That's the other snake I want to get...a silver phase Columbian Red Tail Boa. They're very light and have high contrast to their tails. I'm sure the wife would end up not minding it if you got one as a baby instead of a full grown one since she would see it grow up and see how mellow a snake they are. Even my daughter and son in law, who both were afraid of snakes, will hold mine now.

She's not scared, she loves snakes. It's just an added expense! This is Ben at a year old...we got him as a baby.

They're not that bad to feed...in fact, if you buy the frozen mice at a reptile expo like I do, it ends up costing me less than $2 a week to feed my 4 snakes. :wink: And awwww, what a cutie he is!

Ma'am I really need you to speak to my wife...lol! The problem I ran into was that I always live fed my snakes. 12 young mice would last me a month for 3 pythons, then the idiot at the pet store started selling me unweaned mice without my knowledge and lo and behold my mice started dying on me! And that was the only place to get feeder mice around here. But I still have a really nice 55 gallon set up, so hopefully I'll have a resident for it real soon!
