And oh yeah if we are to limit this forum to non-sarcastic remarks then the overall post count would be about five percent of what it is now.
Exactly, but who says what is in the middle?

I usually take as the "middle" the rough average of what the western free (relatively) press, official and otherwise, has said about the matter for the last century or so. I discount the crudely revisionist histories of dictatorships and autocracies because by and large they are out on the ends of that bell-curve, and then some usually (note: see Ahmedinejad and Chavez). It's hardly a foolproof method (witness the anti-tobacco crusade) but it does rather help in not driving oneself nuts over every facet of history, past or present.

          The holocaust has been utilized as part of a template in the deconstruction of western civilization, an attempt to inculate "white" guilt and neutralize any moral resistance to the dispossesion of european peoples.(As in Jean Raspail's "Camp of the Saints") Aside from heaping scorn upon or imprisoning those who question the holocaust, historical facts which do not fit the template of disposession are discarded or supressed. Such facts might include the bombing of Dresden, a refugee city towards the end of hostilities, or the deliberate starvation of german P.O.W.'s after the conclusion of hostilities and the official surrender of Dönitz' government. Also relevant is the expulsion of germans from various territories after that war;

"The Germans of the Baltic states, Prussia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, the Balkans and their own eastern provinces, almost to Berlin, were expelled in the most brutal act of ethnic cleansing in history—13 million to 15 million Germans, of whom 2 million perished in the exodus." http://www.vdare.com/buchanan/080225_nationalism.htm

I believe one may safely conclude that the entire war was a holocaust for all parties involved, some was incidental to the struggle and some was deliberately inflicted, that most particulars on all sides have been fudged, fabricated, or supressed as suited the interrests of the authors and that there emerged no one person or group of people with any special claims to saintly martyrdom.

I just watched all parts of the 7 part David Cole documentary, the 1st part I posted above, and I must recommend it very much. It's very well done, and very interesting.

Things have gone pretty far afield when a picture of Hillary Clinton digging for gold brings things closer to the original topic.

I'll wear them around the house in the winter. I change out of them before I go any place requiring more formal wear (i.e., down the driveway to the mail box, etc).

I'll tell you who most definitely wasn't down with sweatpants: Hitler. That guy was a dick. Let's talk about him now.

The Zionism Jew thing is a anti-Semetic trip of the New World Order
crowd. David Duke, The KKK, Some Patriot groups. They all follow
Zundel and the Holocaust deniers. What do you mean question
history? Go ahead. It's your right. However most people accept
certain things as mostly factual like the Roman Empire, The Moon
                        landing and The Holocaust.

                        Neo-Nazi

                        http://www.splcenter.org/get-informe...ology/neo-nazi

Neo-Nazi groups share a hatred for Jews and a love for Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. While they also hate other minorities, homosexuals and even sometimes Christians, they perceive "the Jew" as their cardinal enemy, and trace social problems to a Jewish conspiracy that supposedly controls governments, financial institutions and the media.

While some neo-Nazi groups emphasize simple hatred, others are more focused on the revolutionary creation of a fascist political state. Nazism, of course, has roots in Europe, and links between American and European neo-Nazis are strong and growing stronger. American neo-Nazi groups, protected by the First Amendment, often publish material and host Internet sites that are aimed at European audiences -- materials that would be illegal under European anti-racism laws. Similarly, many European groups put up their Internet sites on American servers to avoid prosecution under the laws of their native countries.

The most visible neo-Nazi group in the U.S. is the National Alliance. Until his death, it was led by William Pierce, the infamous author of the futuristic race-war novel The Turner Diaries, a book believed by some to have served as the blueprint for the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

Most people just refuse to question what they've been told, this is how things like this and 9-11 get by.
